Cool well for Blue with harness and map sensor you should be aiming to pay 300-350 and ultimate with harness and sensor about 450-500. Make sure if you are buying blue that the ignition and injector harnesses are wired in there also as I think the earlier models didnt include these.

They are basically the same ultimate allows finer tuning and has extras like launch control. To be fair in the long term Ultimate is always going to be better but Blue would be sufficient. Youd be aswell spending the extra budda.

Thats painful. Mines has never been off the road for any longer than a week. Its worked on then back on the road the same day. Only time it was off for a week was when I had to use both my turbos to build 1 good 1 so never had a spare to use in while that was being done.

If the nipple on the back is free and not doing anything then it is probably blank and doesnt do anything. You can tap into the FPR but not advised id stick to the bov vac line its the least important but upto yourself.
