Hah it was not due to dodgy wiring it hasnt run. Its just veen off the road! As Ryan said thats a good way to check. When it did it to me, i left the ignition on and pulled at the battery terminal leads, i could hear relays clickin into life as i did it. So i tidied up the connectors, made sure everything was tighyt and it was fine after that. John

Also having had quite a number of Pugs, I agree with Dazza, You dont see much in the way of these especially in that condition John

I'll agree with the fact that alot of people wont pay money for a decent car. They'd rather put in a cheeky offer probably because they are unaware of the actual cost of things. However certain people have criteria to fill when buying a car, thats normally how i go about it. Mine is normally based around the fact that if its mechanically in good nick then the bodywork is an easy after thought to be sorted. I dont mind paying the price on a car thats right for me, unfortunately its one of those things that takes time to sell a motor these days John
-
Normally the price people ask for in relation to the kit thats on them. Been looking on PH for a daily for a while now, wouldnt pay what people are askin. John

Ha ermmm haven't replaced them yet as such. I just tidied up the connections a bit better but it hasn't ran much since then! John

I have one in my 82 aswell. John

Mine did this. It was a worn cable for the battery terminals. Worth a look atleast? John

IT WAS YOU!! DAMN YOU AGAIN! John -
My understanding of it is that it.draws some of the engine oil to be cooled but once the thermostat closes it doesnt sit in the cooler it simply flows back into circulation. This may be totally wrong so I would like to clarify this guys? John

Nick Grimshaw to replace Chris Moyles on radio 1
Johnboy GT replied to Turbo Goose's topic in Off Topic
Dislike Moyles completely but agree Grimmy isnt exactly a good replacement to target a younger audience. John -

Ive got a Toms horn on mine.. John -
What are these like to run with? Reliable? Any.common problems? Looking for a boost controller for my car. John
-
If it is the seals then Itl smoke blue smoke on boost and on idle after i think. If its a ct9 then an upgrade or just another ct9 would be best. Can always have it rebuilt though John
