mines maped at 1.3 bar on a td04 with stock internals done with a road map on a emu just depends on the maper realy

mines still pretty heavy on fuel but thats more due to me using the screamer pipe to cheer me up coming back from work. getting it maped on the emu made the world of diffrence more power and better mpgs? its a win win

also worth noting a cat 1 alarm cant have a remote start feature on it either so worth checking with your insurance is they will allow a cat 2

i gave my 98 spec seats to a garage in return for them moding my evo 8 recaros to fit the starlet great swap makes driving so much better and now theres a nice fishing boat going around with the captain chilling in his 98 spec captains chair

i have the spec 6 clutch wouldnt rate it very high at all release bearing on it itself lasted bout 450 miles

would be good to see some new traders. have plently of great parts already but the amount of parts i can think of that id like to see is massive and at the end of the day a little bit of competion between traders/companys is always a good thing. ive seen a few sites doing polls for forums were the trader has to post up reasons they belief they should become a trader and show of some of they're work/plans and what they could bring to the forum. then get feedback/votes from the forum members. nice idea because its basicaly the future customers giving there input into if they feel the trader is trustworthy enough to hand there hard earned cash over to and get good quality parts in return.

still shouldnt need a rrfpr a emu is a clamp type and u can run them with out a rrfpr its just ment to be better with

if there properly set up wont make a diffrence what one you have but the jam one is said to be the best all rounder as it doesnt actauly do anything untill u would be hitting fuel cut were as the hks changes it from the start only taking word of mouth on this tho so i may have been misinformed

after my cars been taken for good run if i turn it off and leave it for a few mins then turn it back on again the idle bounces between 1k ish and almost stalling will do this for a min or so till i start driving then its fine. been doing this for a little bit but havent paid much attention to it till today when my boost gauge stoped working stoped the engine went few tools to have a look at the gauge. when i started it up was doing its normal bouncing idle almost to a stall point. checking the connections to the boost sensor and took off the vac pipe and the idle just went back to perfect and steady soon as i block the vac pipe it goes back to an iratic idle. any ideas whats causing the idle issue? i run a emu and the map sensor for that is t pieced in to the same line as the boost gauge sensor if that might be effecting anything? any help be great cheers shaun

no rolling road was done on the road and its maped td04 @ 1.3 bar on stock internals on a emu wont be put on the rollers to check power untill i get ma gearbox rebuilt tho then ill be going back to gi for custom intercooler pipes + exhaust. they were pricing up a dyno might be possible for them to use some1 else tho. reply to pm on way

i went to gi motorsport in kilmarnock mapper there is great was great my car just didnt want to get maped but they got it sorted and then when it came to pay the gave me a realy great price. been back since even tho its a 200mile round trip for me
