asked about getting a gearbox recon'd and gaz offered to recon his spare and exchange it for mine so i didnt have to take car off road went to pick it up yesterday and was well worth the 320mile round trip. new gearbox running perfect and gaz was happy to answer any questions i had. looking forward to getting a scottish meet up at his new place and hopefully next time i wont reverse in to this garage door when i leave

nah there def an-6 i got 1 of the 3 he made there all the same

there an6 fittings i just got a meter of ebay

closest 1 is about 80 miles. only place in like a 30 mile radius is the local motor factor down here sadly

mines running stock injectors @ 1.2 bar with the td04 and its fine i do have bigger injectors but havent got around to getting them fitted and maped yet as stock seems to be doing the job

mines maped at 1.3 bar on a td04 with stock internals done with a road map on a emu just depends on the maper realy

mines still pretty heavy on fuel but thats more due to me using the screamer pipe to cheer me up coming back from work. getting it maped on the emu made the world of diffrence more power and better mpgs? its a win win

also worth noting a cat 1 alarm cant have a remote start feature on it either so worth checking with your insurance is they will allow a cat 2

i have the spec 6 clutch wouldnt rate it very high at all release bearing on it itself lasted bout 450 miles

would be good to see some new traders. have plently of great parts already but the amount of parts i can think of that id like to see is massive and at the end of the day a little bit of competion between traders/companys is always a good thing. ive seen a few sites doing polls for forums were the trader has to post up reasons they belief they should become a trader and show of some of they're work/plans and what they could bring to the forum. then get feedback/votes from the forum members. nice idea because its basicaly the future customers giving there input into if they feel the trader is

if there properly set up wont make a diffrence what one you have but the jam one is said to be the best all rounder as it doesnt actauly do anything untill u would be hitting fuel cut were as the hks changes it from the start only taking word of mouth on this tho so i may have been misinformed
