nah 98 spec glanza went in to talk to the local mot station and they argued with me about my car getting a basic cat test when i asked them to show me why the just said no your not a paying customer why should we lol wankers

ma cars due for its mot next week and bit worried it might fail on emissions since am running the td04 and 1 no any garages in or around glasgow that dont worrie to much bout emissions? cheers shaun

hybrids are an upgraded turbo which can give out more power and cost alot more to buy so might be worth asking doesnt matter if its not but its always a nice bonus if it is

welcome mate do u have a link to the glanza your thinking of buying? quite alot of people talk alot of crap when selling them and most the time people on here can spot whos talking crap or even no the car in question and can give fair bit of info ;)

i have the race-tech kit with the wastegate on top and it just fouls the top rad hose it wont melt the rad hose but it very slowly starts to wear it down so over months it would prob burst the pipe i banged a cable tie on mine to pull it just out the way and its fine now tho

i love mine great noise and ive had txts from people parked miles away saying they can hear me boosting down the country roads ;) theres a bit of the road near me thats big windy bends u can fly round and it goes right in to a 40 traffic always sit there alot with speed gun and they just laught talking with 1 they can tell its me and even no what part of the road there that used to it now lool but there actauly alright long as i make sure am bang on 40 when that speed gun hits me ;) however the traffic always been nice to me cause they now from pulling me over every other day for like a year that ma cars always up to scratch and legal and they its taken care off. sadly the normal police dont see it that way and fucking hate me even a blip of the throttle near them and am pulled in to get shouted at ;)

few years ago i was pulled over and when they checked insurance it came up as none turned out there was something wrong with there system but for bout 30mins while they called my insurance i was sittings in the back shitting maself as i only had 6 points to lose lol was a horrid feeling lol

changing it to mph isnt hard u just need a mph converter think tmd sells them. just looking at pics its 100% a 97. my mates glanza was ment to have done 70k miles and the steering wheel was worn to shit along with the gear knob and sounds stupid but when driving it it made it feel horrible even tho it drove fine it was just off putting. end of day its your money and i wouldnt be spending a penny unless i was 100% happy with the car

they put it as a 98 and its a 97 sounds stupid but for a "company" to put the wrong year always puts me off lol

idrees was running this set up aswell on his gt iirc not sure how well it went every1 agrees the gaskets are a waste of time tho

as above what price is it to convert these? apart from coilovers what cant be carried over from a glanza to this?

u can take 1 spring out there all colour coded to there pressure rating have a look on the tail website to see what 1s u have

ive herd the kazz is a good diff but after speaking to a few other people it appears the Quaiffe is in a totaly diffrent league. IIRC the kazz needs to be overhauled every couple thousand miles dependant on how much u drive. never herd of anyone complain about a Quaiffe dif for normal driving drop enzo a pm he runs 1 atm and was very helpful as always when i asked him for some info on them
