  1. just had a read of that japspeed oilcooler theres no thermo with the kit so unless your gonna buy a thermo on top id dodge it
  2. ive not had the chance to get mine on the track yet but i would sujest oil temp water temp and oil pressure for peace of mind. i got my oil cooler from the group buy on here and there was a 2nd 1 running not sure if its ended now tho. IMO i dont see how a civic rad would give u better cooling than the oem 1 but i might be wrong. uprated fuel pump is easy to change took me like 20mins first time i done it theres a guide on tgtt
  3. well no 1 was realy sure at first but when i fitted the race-tech kit it didnt have a boss for my lamda spoke to driver. who ran it before and mentioned it ran fine without a lamba on his emb. so i didnt bother fitting it after chris had talks with fensport and geo they figured this would prob be the cause so had it it fitted and running good now. how go your plans with the car?
  4. cheers for the comments got most my big stuff out the way just down to the cleaning up body work and tidying under the bonnet keep seeing people posting up spotless engine bays so hopefully this good weather will keep up and i can get mine done

  9. ment to do this after i got my car back but totaly forgot they might not be listed on here but great bunch of guys always happy to help even when things just wont go well. took my car to get maped by chris after talking to him on the emanage forum and he was realy helpful. turned out whoever wired the emu loom in to the feild harness was colour blind so after a bit of prob solving chris sorted all the wiring out (which took awhile). then my alternator packed in was quoted stupid money for a new 1 so they arranged to have it refurbed and i just on the train home. then to cut a longer story short i had 2 more trips up to try map my car in which my dizzy gave up and the car would not ideal properly at all. so chris was on the phone to every person he could think off to try get it sorted. and after almost a week of chris working on it pretty much not stop just trying to find tiny hard to find issues we finaly got it maped and knowing how much time and effort chris and every1 else had put in trying to get my car sorted i was expecting a rather hefty bill to which i was stunned when they told me how much my bill was. ( not going to give a figure but it was the first time ive left a garage thinking dam that was a good price) anyway that was my story ha but to anyone around the kilmarnock arena after getting there car maped id recommend gi motorsport wont find a nicer more helpful bunch of guys who no what there talking about
  10. figured id update this with some of the progress ive made so far been mainly working on power / handling pretty happy with it atm till i can save up for forged engine and gearbox rebuild with an lsd. now weather is better going to start to work on cleaning up the body work and hopefully have a nice c/f bonnet from iddy soon. whats been done so far. race-tech td04 kit walbro fuel pump miester r coilovers cusco 7 point roll cage evo 8 recaros sparco 3 point harnesses prosport boost/water temp /oil temp /oil pressure gauges blitz ebc with power meter indiglo reverse dails white-line anti lift kit white-line rarb wms 4 pot brake kit ( worth every penny saved my ass a few times already ) uprated earthing kit magnacore 8.5m leads zisco c pillar bar vibe 4" speaks behind dash 8k hid headlights and fog lights oil cooler /filer relocation kit 360cc injectors all maped at 1.2 bar on a emu ( going back up to get final tweaks done and launch control in next few weeks) thats bout all i can rember so far sure i forgot 1 or to things. still couple parts to go but for now it will be front bumper resprayed and get the te37s refurbed. always forget to take pics of bits going on lol so sadly just a couple pics i snaped the other day prob shoulda washed the car first tho o and ignore the stupid intercooler last 1 gained a hole so just using this till i can get a new core and some custom pipes made up

  22. mine was missing higher up the rev range and turned out to the rotor/dizzy think it was like £30 for new 1s so prob worth doing just so its all fresh anyway
  23. as above id go for a good tryed and tested kit wepr/race-tech/zisco. all the ebay manis seem to either last forever or brake in the first 100 miles its a coin flip and IMO not worth risking your money on some cheap parts
  24. ahh thats great might sound stupid but is there a special primer and lacquer for cars or is it all the same?
  25. was down helping a mate sort his glanza out (after he ran over a man ) gave him a couple parts he needed and while chatting mentioned i wanted to get ma bumper resprayed to which he replyed why down u use my spray booth. turns out he has a full spray booth at his work which he has free access to on weekends. so am pretty tempted to make use of it but 1. were do i even get the paint 2. how much paint would it take to do front and rear bumpers and prob side skirts 3.is there any specail primer or lacquer needed for 040 white? any help be great cheers shaun
