  1. cant get pic till later but i have a gutted pvc valve with a hose coming off it and a hose coming from other breather the then are joined by a T piece that goes to catch tank and other inlet on catch tank is breather to atmosphere
  2. just back from garage and results were between 155-160 across all cylinders so that sounds bout right doesnt it? took sump plug out aswell and oil was still nice and fresh

  4. i always assumed u couldnt but theres been an old bmw driving round for couple months with no back bumper and ive seen police watch it go by and do nothing
  5. wouldnt say its filling it but most people ive spoke to tell me my catch tank wont fill up very fast however its already got like 2cms in it which seems pretty fast saying that ive done around 500? miles since service and its only lost mabye a quater of my overflow bottle and oil still seems perfect so am unsure if its just been the snow/weather somehow effecting the catch can also worth noting it had an engine flush done to it dunno if that would effect amout of shit in catch can

  8. well today boost gauge started to act up it was saying am boosting 28psi and boost cont was reading 0.8bar so went to check for any kinks in line poped bonnet and car sounded pretty noisey.spoted the catch tank i put on other week there was already fair bit of fluid in it (kinda a watery crappy oil liquid) so looked a little futher and my coolant lever was between max and min. changed rad pipes last week and redone my coolant so i no it was full last sunday. car seems to run fine tho even after taking it a fast drive round the country roads it still seems to drive fine and engine stays nice and cool so not sure if it might just be a few small things making me think i have a big problem or i do infact have a problem. now only thing that comes to mind is headgasket but i checked oil and its still nice and clear no mayo crap and it had a full sevice last sunday and nothing noticable then. cant do anything today with car as i got a meeting to go to today and dont no how long its gonna however i assume it will be till late tonight tomorow ill give it a comp test but what figures am i looking for? engine wise its not been touched any other things u can think it might be the cars booked to be maped thursday and its a 4hour drive so id like to make sure everythings good before i go. cheers shaun
  9. good to see ma filter put to good use i put on some 3mm spacers so i have some clearance for ma wms brakes most pathetic spacers ever
  10. well if u could get an iso ideal cut from loom with some good lenght wires still joined on would make your life alot easyer just match up the colours. but since hes butcherd those wires he mighta done something futher back that has damaged something else. sadly with other people bodge jobs it mighta saved him 30secs of his life to look and go "hey! it unclips there!" but can take u hours to sort it out

  12. go back to guy u bought car car off and slap him probaly took him longer to cut all those wires than it woulda to unclip the iso plug. its more effort but id sujest getting a new iso plug and wiring it in properly so its easy for future changes

  17. half the people will say there good half will say there bad IMO its a risk u take with ebay manis. if your gonna fit it urself then thats fair enought but if your paying some1 else to its worth taking in to account IF it does crack ull have to pay for another mani and to get re fitted again. 1 thing am sure every1 wil agree with is if u do buy it chuck the gaskets in the bin there useless get some oem gaskets

  19. fitted my brake kit and the clearance with caliper wheel is tiny so waning some spacers to give me a lil bit to play with mate has a set of 3mm spacers he doesnt need but will i need anything else its only 3mm but when i mentioned it to tyre fitters today they said id need longer bolts for sure? cheers shaun
  20. 1bar atm it was overboosting to 1.2 at start due to ebc settings but alls good now
  21. mines on with a blitz acess atm its good but rather get that lil bit extra outta a good map on the emu
  22. ill be using an emu and the exact turbo kit driver used think ill stick with 1.2 then to be safe
  23. went it to my local tyre fitter to get few bits today n asked bout prices on there pradas and they were £80 fitted so i said it was alright id get them somewere else n get them to fit them then he asked what price i could get them at i said well look for your self its camskills n they matched the price so cant complain
  24. well car should be getting maped next week but not totaly sure on what boost to go for 1.2seems safe but few people seem to be running fair bit higher boost on stock internals. whos running a td04 on stock internals and what your boost set to ? and how longs it been running that boost? cheers shaun
