    Glanza Gearbox

ive got a glanza gearbox sitting if your still looking. worked fine when removed from my car to fit a LSD box
  6. Provided the width isn't like 9" then your fine some people are running et0
  7. Seen people soak it in praffin overnight that's likely your best option. Id-works can get you pretty much any part of the assembly you require if you wanted to cut the Locking rings off
  8. Ha good to see its made it's way back on the road woulda been a shame to see it go to waste
  9. Not on a starlet but ive used some thick cable ties linked before to get me the 30miles home from work ha.
  10. Aye it's pretty mad everyone these days is an expert. I don't proclaim to know everything but I know my way around the cars very well and unless someone asks my advise I rarerly bother now cause some clown will always come along and argu your wrong. That said its not limited to just starlets everyone seems to be getting it. I went to grab some service stuff todo my diesel bmw at the weekend and they guy was adamant I took his advise and done the spark plugs at the same time despite many sarcastic comments he strongly suggested I take the advise of an expert who deals with services everyday
  11. Under Suzuki actualy blew 3 engines! Luckily they had spares with them. Was hotter than normal from what I understand and then Rained for the shootout so really not ideal. Both uk teams have confirmed they will be going back next year and Andy has confirmed he will be taking a fresh car for time attack as aposed to one that's just finished a season of racing so looking forward to next years already ha
  12. And a very poor weekend for the uk guys. Gutted for them all that planning and travels and coming back with 2 broken cars
  13. just a note when i took mine off i used a spare piece of wood think it was a 1x3 that slid between the sump and the pully with like a mill of space just taped the wood with a mallet to act as a lever agaist the pully then spun it 180degrees and taped it again and it slide of no bother at all no with no damage.
  14. i never said it should be mounted to the harness but if the bars not up to the task its still going to give in regardless if its mounted to the bar or being directed by the bar.
  15. spoke with jezza about it biggest problem is just the risk of getting involved in such an important part of the car. easy enough to whip up a harness bar but its being sure its upto the task in a crash. big risk to take with out paying for proper testing on the product
  16. would stay clear of TD. race-tech and wepr do very good stuff id personaly go WEPR sacha has far better customer service ( just my view) and is also a good bit cheaper. hes due to have a big sale in the next few weeks aswell making it even more cheaper
  17. Looks exact same as the one i have ive had it over a year and it's still pretty solid
