A lot of the time it just seems to be ignorance that's gets the better of people. Prime example was a emu I sold. Guy asked what it was mapped for I said a stock engine td04 at 1.3 bar but it needed a re map and to make sure he didn't fit it till he was at the mappers as it had a plug and play loom. Guy agreed and paid messaged me when it arrived to say he fitted it and was going well. Told him it was a bad idea no run it with it it being mapped to his car and he said nah it its fine mate! You can use a n/a crank. What exactlys wrong with the bottom end? If it's just spun bearings you should get away with just the sump but if its anything else I'd Personally take the head off and just inspect everything to make sure its all spot on
