Told him who I was on here and never here back from him.

Am running just under 300bhp at 1.2bar on a hybrid gt28 so something is certainly untoward there

When i had my 95 up for sale I had easily over 20offers to split the running gear from all over the world won't be an easy task finding one at all the majority of them seem to be autos which are relatively worthless. A lad from Germany offered me 1k for the gearbox alone shipped.

Good luck with emissions test on that set up! -
Really depends what your looking to get done
-
They were just made for 133 bhp so when people are pushing. 200+ they struggle to last. Stock calipers and with ebc disks and yellow stuff pads and mine are totaly useless after a decent 5 minute ragg. That being said its Really down to the drivers style and how hard they actualy go some people are more reserved and then you get people like taggy that just balls out every corner and need some big boy brakes
-
A lot of people have had engine failures after getting there cover powder coated. If your getting it done you really want to drill off the baffle and have totaly cleaned behind to make sure its 100% free or any forgein objects

They seem to bang out some Builds quickly and others just never finish think matty_d has the record at like over a year to fit and map an engine they took out there own demo car ha! I think you have more chance of a bill for storage than a discount tho lol! First bit of boost and you'll forget all about the wait tho! -
Quite a few people have issues with him not posting out parts when said. You'll generally get the he's really busy post from someone and then it gets sorted untill next time. To be fair to him I've got parts and bar being a day or so late they always arrive he sources hard to find parts and does list items well he just seems to have issues actualy posting the stuff on time

Always wanted a wee quadlight gt but was advised trick would be to to put a support frame around where u wanted to cut so it kept its shape and was all straight does look like he's just grabbed and angle grinder and went for it wouldn't like to try sort that bodge ha

A local lad has one for sale you got Facebook I can point you in his direction?

To be fair there is some absolute rockets on this site aswell that fit an air fresher and say they feel power gains. We have a lot of expert starlet tuners that will advise on how easy all this big power and handling is while there still trying to crack 180bhp on a ct9. Banging on about there superb braking system because the fitted a set of yellow stuff pads. But these are easy to miss unless you have to much time on your hands at work as there Normaly hidden in built threads or cleared up by a mod when it gets abit frisky.Facebook it just pops up in front of you and you know you can just abu

Aye I stuck up a breakers thread had 27 messages on my phone when I woke up and outta all of them not a single person bought anything ha
-
Certainly more accurate and will give it a smoother map but your looking at a minimum of a grand todo it so unless your chasing big power and going standalone wouldn't bother. I had all the parts sitting and sold them on awhile back I'd like todo it again but with the emu already up and running dropping so much money on something that you hardly notice id say there's a lot better things the money could be used for.

The thermostat housing just uses a big o ring style rubber ring round the thermo so no need for any gaskets or pastes if anything that would weaken it one of the cars I bought they has removed it to keep it running cold so it wouldn't get upto temp if urs is still boiling as above its likely headgasket id prob do a sniff test prior to striping so you no what your getting into before stripping it.
-
Can u measure it and pm me your postcode so I can get postage. Would be nice just to see it in situ to see what fitments like
-
Most people run it with a trigger on the crank pully its not really worth it unless chasing massive power
