If you need any small bits and bobs give me a shout. I could add things like Inlet alternator and starter but wouldn't want to get into trying to did each but bolt and pipe required to make it plug and play. I pretty much just have massive boxes filled with misc bolts and random pipes ha

Always been advised not to wrap mild steel as the wrap can hold water and encourage rust. I plan to wrap my exhaust and decat and ceramic coat the manifold but that's mainly for bay temps and its only a short side exit so doesn't really require much

Looks stock can see the casting marks on the rods. If there not arp rod bolts good sign aswell.

I have one for sale and that's the main reason I've left the sump off so people can actauly double check its forged. Even taking just paperwork can be risky as I could just photo copy my receipt and sell 10 stock engines with it as they don't state engine codes.

wouldnt touch it mate the guy just buys cheap ragged starlets and tarts them up for a high price. he normally gives you the story its either been his or his brothers for years when theres a decent chance the drivers seat is still warm from the last owner

Guys a bellend I had a gt up for 2.5k and he mesaged me saying be was a well respected member of a site called ukso and he had valued the car at 1k. Then I has to explain I was one of the lads off said forum ripping the piss outta him

I tryed to watch breaking bad watched the first 6 episodes its mind numbingly slow the whole idea and premise of it is great but they just take ages todo anything. Managed To bang out 4 series of walking dead on a weekend off tho!

The calipers are the same anyway its only the carriers that are different.

I enquired about d2 brakes for the starlet and the guy said he can order these in all the tooling is done for them so there built to order same idea as the new Meisters
-
Yea I used to run a set on a crx I had and where superb if a little harsh at times but they has been set to track race by the previous owner so where on stiffest setting. Currently got BCs on this starlet and am not a massive fan and there getting on abit so will either go for the super race d2s or the basic Meisters

http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?108276-for-sale-D2-racing-quot-SUPER-RACING-quot-Rally-Asphalt-Gymkhana-3-ways-coilovers You can also have them built to order from d2 aswell for the same price. They look and sound absolutely stunning just can't decide if they are worth paying £1500 for ha

Ahh see I have probably atleast double of everything you would need but wouldn't be that confident I'd be able to find and package it all so it would be plug and play. Best bet would be a doner car with. A running engine to just switch it all over to be honest.
-
Evos and scoobs are fairly common tho so I'd expect to pay abit more. Needless to say I think these have probably missed the mark. Am looking for new ones over the winter and realistically it would either be the meister zeta-rs or top end I'd pay the £1500 for the top end d2s which where designed buy a starlet owner for his own rally car. Obviously there a lot of R and D been done on these but I'd say around. £1200 would be tops retail on them in this market.

As it sits right now yea. I can add parts on if required
-
So what your saying is these wouldn't be worth as much as if they were a rare set of genuine rotas ?

Are you checking the battery voltage to make sure it is flat? Or is it possibly something else making it seem like a flat battery. Best way would be get a volt meter and look to see what's happening. What's the voltage before starting? What's the voltage at idle What's the voltage driving round town What's the voltage when you turn the car off What's the voltage after leaving it for a few hours. From that you can start to problem solve and help work out is it a charging issue or is there a drain on the battery.

460cc would be possibly over kill for under 300 bhp but prob better being safe than sorry. If you have a blue already I wouldn't bother switching to stay under 300bhp

Bought my Meisters brand new for my first starlet and only issue I had was how fast the powder coating came off the springs and rusted. Other than that they where spot on. Personally for the price I doubt you would see much interest from the starlet market. People going for hardcore track suspension would be aswell sourcing d2 super racing coilovers which are cheaper and have a pretty immense spec sheet with them. The warranty and discount for current owners is good to see tho.
