    I did have a look at the plug but it looks to me like a good plug. I am debating just buying a second hand low mileage engine. And doing a forged build.

    Yeh came back at 170 psi across all four cylinders for dry test and 220psi for wet test.. Would you say this is a big jump and point my problem at rings. Both done on a warm engine with WOT. thanks.

    Yeh done it already mate. I had race spec rocker cover fitted. So I have now gone back to the original rocker cover and PCV but still burns oil. The smoke is now a very pale blue and sometimes is white. I really don't understand. The only things I have in mind are worn cylinders or piston rings..? But surely this would show on a compression test.. Anyone local to Peterborough have a leak down tester..? I have one at work but unable to get it, would really like to do it tomorrow and kind of in a rush :/ Thanks.

    Can be done with head on using compressed air or even rope to hold valve up with this method no head gasket is needed. When I done mine I took the head off and done HG at same time for piece of mind knowing its done if you take head off, replace head bolts aswell. Hope this helps!!

    Item For Sale: Jam P+P ECU EP91 Glanza MT Item Condition & Description: I brought this from browner, I have owned this ECU for roughly one year now and had no problems whatsoever. Most people know what these do now but for those that don't: Raises rev limit Removes fuel cut Removes speed limit More aggressive map Advances timing Raises fuelling to cope with increased power Few people have run td04 turbos on these ECU's with excellent results. Has all the seals intact and never been opened up. Only selling due to engine problems and need cash for rebuild. Price: £520 poste
