  1. I got this idea from another forum Seeing as UKSC is such a tight family and we are all bro's, does anybody feel like taking part in a secret santa for UKSC. Limit would be £10 (open to negotiation if people want to change this) and everything would have to be sent out by 10th December. This is limited to users that have been registered since August 2011, this is to stop deadbeat santas that will recieve and not give. If you want to take part then just post up: Username: Hobbies: Favourite colour: Favorite mod for starlet: Any food/jewelry/dislikes allergies: Any other pertinent questions/comments: Once we have a list of people that want to take part. ill ask you all to PM me your real name and address, then ill randomly pair up people and reply to you all. When you pack up your gift please take a photo, this is proof of shipping. Also when you open your gift get somebody to take photos so we can see reactions! Ok obviously there are some risks, firstly your name and address will get shared with me and your santa. but we are all bros here, and you share your address with a random everytime you use the classifieds/ebay/amazon whatever. also if we have scrooges you might get people that dont send a present out. in this case there isnt alot we can do. but as its limited to known members i hope this wont happen. so come on everybody, lets get UKSC into the xmas spirit
  2. from looking at the part numbers, if you bought the bit of plastic that goes under the stereo, and has the gear stick surround in. that would meet up with the handbrake surround and the upper dash, then the cup holders would fit
  3. yeah the one that goes below the cig lighter
  4. ok, deffo not cheaper than toyota, for some reason i thougt they went for more. just ignore me then. ill go and sit quietly in the corner.
  5. how much do they go for on here? Cause i think i might have a Toyota part number for them new, and if they still make them they should be that much.
  6. thats really helpful for somebody that has an ep70 and already has an ep82 kit
  7. same turbo slightly different (larger) compressor wheel on the L
  8. correct, it tends to be a problem with the database that needs cleaning up. IPS driver error hides the real error message for security purposes. Geo will need to check the log files, sql logs etc for the exact error but im sure hes already on it
  9. Taggy where is the video of you driving it round! this upsets me
  10. this bracket is spot welded on. people have to remove it to fit a Civic radiator (which is a common upgrade) the way i see it for repair you have two options Option 1. Put a wanted thread up asking for the bracket that is broken. many people have removed this part to fit a civic radiator. you could get this bracket from them remove your broken one, and spot weld their replacement onto your car as the standard one is. this allows you to retain the standard radiator, and has a low cost. Option 2. As i said, the bracket that is broken is removed to fit a civic radiator. if you snap this off entirely. you can buy a civic raditor mounting kit from JD Tuning and install this. This will allow you to fit a half size civic raditor to your GT. This will give an improvement on cooling, and allow more space if you ever deciede to upgrade your turbo (it also makes getting to the oil filter a lot easier). this however will be more expensive as you have to buy a civic raditor, and kit i hope i have made that clear.
  11. ok, there are two lower mounts for the rad. one is bolted on, one is spot welded on. the one by the mani/turbo is bolted on, the other one is spot welded on. which one has broken?
  12. easiest way, get one from somebody that has fitted a civic rad as most people take this off. if somebody has cut theirs off cleanly you could have it. (ill have a look for mine tonight if its not too dark when i get home) it has to be spot welded to the car. another way would be to get a civic rad kit from jezza. then smash that mount completely off, then fit a civic rad.
  13. although i no longer have a glanza, i might be coming in my mates Glanza. the bodywork is dog, but it should be td04 by the time we come so it should be good fun
  14. what you doing for seats taggy? as im guessing the EP70 seats wont hold you all that good!
  15. they always said the Lexus IS200/Toyota Altezza was the new AE86
  16. just pointing out that most of the updates are for security reasons so it probably would be a good idea. as well as enabling new features.

    Stance

i had mine low, and just needed some spacers to get the wheels out the arches a bit more my mate has just bought an mx5, and hes coming along for some pretty sweet stance. (just needs wider lips for his bbs)
  21. jam manis are cast, and are the same as the standard, but without the resrictor they are very unlikely to crack. they go for about £250 jam/zep decat, i havent seen a jam one i dont think but zep ones go for about £130ish (is it cast or stainless?) never heard of jam cams before, must be fairly rare
  22. i had a proper civic rad kit from jezza my mechanic paniced about it and raised the rad using a custom top bracket. but i dont know. looks like with some lagging i would have been fine
  23. its ok at 1.1/1.2. just its like a blowtorch. so you need a good cooler
  24. one of the tial style ones from brand new from keith. (zisco) maybe a turbosmart or whatever would have been better, i dunno
  25. even with an external wastegate i had a bit of a job getting mine to seal (the gaskets that came with the wastegate were crap and i needed to get copper ones made)
