  5. depending on what bov it is losen the spring so that it dumps more or if it isnt adjustable check the vacuum, as if that is split/broken it could be holding it shut

  8. yeah i questioned this also. in other cars ive heard of them disconnecting the kickdown, but this aparently is eriously bad for the box. you would have thought they could do some ECU trickery to keep it in one gear?

  11. yeah man, but think of the body power increase by not having to move the left hand side of your body. through out of the course of the day think of how much energy you will save!
  12. yeah you have to keep an ear out for them second hand although i got mine from a lad that was breaking his no bother
  13. id go for jd tuning ones, then spray what ever colour you want. imo they look better than the tegiwa ones. the front also connects better. as it goes to the oem ep toweye. the tegiwa one you have to drill a hole somewhere, and then i wouldnt recomened being towed by it, unless you KNOW that where you mounted it is secure

  15. ok, well if they do it in 2nd it will be innacurate. cause of the ratios. there isnt a 1:1 gear on the auto box. so im going with 198.1bhp

  17. aparently the correct way to do it is measure voltage accross battery when the car is off then mesaure with car on note the increase in change (or lack of it) that the alternator provides
  18. aparently DONT DO THIS as the battery provides earthing out and smooths spikes from the alternator aparently this can fry ecus and relays/fuses etc and cause a nightmare. ive never seen it happen, (and my battery terminal has fallen off, in a drive before i didnt even notice til i went to restart the car) but everywhere ive looked its often severely warned against,
  19. how do they dyno an auto? how do they stop it from kicking down/changing too early?
  20. They dont really have a lot of difference in the figures and i prefer the looks of the Type R. I have driven the mini and wasnt really that impressed
  21. does fuel cut always bring the engine light on? or can it just miss until you back off ?
