How do i check these gaps? Mine is fine when giving it death, the problem only happens when driving normally! lol

Is the rocker cover pressurised? You should try it again but take it off before you start the car. Only reason i say that is because you can't remove the rad cap when the engine is up to temp but you can remove it before hand and get it up to temp (usually to clear any air in the rad). Oil cap could be the same?

Not the case dude unfortunately. Mine and Starbucks project GT was high on cylinder 1,3,4 and 120psi on cylinder 2! We did the oil down the chamber jobby and its new engine time for us!

Just done this and it just kept on flashing so no codes came up! The headache continues..

I really dont think it is a misfire as the car just judders and never really 'misses' lol. Spark plugs are more or less brand new and are all installed correctly. Swapped king lead when i replaced the ignition leads and that wasn't the problem. I'll check the dizzy over again but it's all new! :| Really want to get to the end of this problem now lol

I've had a problem with the starlet for a while now. To keep it short; when lightly on the throttle at around 2000rpm i get hesitation and sometimes (usually when up hill or going round an island) a lot of juddering. Also, if you're lightly building up speed in a high gear it feels as if the car is holding back and then it will suddenly come to life after a short time. I don't think it's anything ignition related as most things have been replaced with new parts however, these are the things i've tried so far: - Ignition leads - MAF sensor - ICV - Injectors - Unplugged the TPS, same problems occur Could it be possible that the cambelt isn't timed up correctly? Only reason i say this is that it was replaced shortly before i bought the car.

Right then, just need to put the spats on and source a genuine TOMS grill! The kit hasn't been sprayed yet so it's a bit worse for wear in some places but will do for the time being Also added a couple more stickers. Starbuck managed to find a seller with genuine JDM parking permits so had to get one
