That looks like the JAM high flow turbo, there's a bit of info cutting around about them but they are rare as rocking horse poop and apparently make decent power.

I remember reading an interview in Max Power (LOL) years ago about it with the head of gran turismo, he said it was being developed alongside the other game, 6 is probably just a step up in graphics etc.

Well if your just buying the engine it's not gonna hurt to whip the sump off I suppose.

Does it make any weird noises during boosting? Hissing or anything? You got an adjustable actuator? Front moun intercooler? Boost controller? (Just to point you in the right direction bud)

How many of the boost lights are popping on on the dash? Could well be a saggy actuator if those are the only symptoms

Even if it is forged I wouldn't whack the boost up! For one its not mapped for that boost and secondly it's not even mapped for the injectors. Mega risky business there could end up melting something.

If your ECU is standard you will need/have a fuel cut defender which will be hidden away somewhere to stop it boost cutting at a bar, what you tried to adjust?

If its spiking and boosting massively too high the same thing can happen.'what have you got to adjust it? Actuator or controller for holding your boost? I'd wind either down a lil bit to be safe
