Sold

LOL ! The engine would be in the passenger seat by the time you get a gearbox on it! Even a FWD box won't fit if you mounted it horizontally as the shell isn't wide enough.

Nope DSD mate.
-
Yeah thats it mate, also found in the Levin, and probably a few others as well. Contact Morgey on here, he has one in an EP91

4AGE or 3SGE. But no engine will drop straight in unless its an E series motor mate, so expect a little bit of work. Would be good to see a lexus V8 in a shell though

I just wish the volts was boost instead

I wanna see 2 piece discs and rear setup

Bit of a change of plan with this. I've found a white 95 spec GT shell for sale and as I've always wanted one I'm grabbing it! So I've managed to sell the black GT to Aidan off here and getting the white shell to build the monster up in. Needs a few bodywork bits but I should be able to pick them up easily enough. Hoping to pick up the shell on Sunday but just waiting for my mate to let me know if hes free on Sunday to get it with his transporter

As Aidan has said, car is potentially sold as of tomorrow morning Been so busy getting things ready so sorry for any late replies.

Depends on the core, piping, mandrel bending, pipe size and turbo. Most setups these days don't increase lag too much, its more to do with the size of the turbo.

Theres the clutch reservior on the firewall mate, just top this up.

I got a set of STRI gauges, I got them fucking dirt cheap and tbh I can't fault them. I haven't used them yet, but the quality is spot on. Just to make you jelous I got: Water temp Oil temp Oil pressure Volts (Not really needed so prob sell it) All brand new in the box with sensors and wiring for £150 delivered lol.

Some engines respond well to advancing the base static ignition timing, some don't. The car will need to be checked with det cans to ensure the engines isn't knocking throughout the rev range from advancing the timing. If this is the case you could fit an adjustable cam pulley and retard the valve timing slightly to reduce cylinder pressure. Having the maximum amount of ignition timing possible improves the driving and increases mpg slightly, not that its very noticeable.

What tooling are you using? I wouldn't advise the intake side is smoothed, this causes the fuel to drop out of the air as there is no swirl effect which helps atomize the fuel droplets. Get something like a 140 grit flap wheel in the port once you have finished removing material, this will give a rough surface to help create a swirl effect to ensure you don't lose power. I would also recommend at looking at the intake manifold to do a little work on.

Thanks for the kind words lads. I'm not really after making a profit, I want the car to go as a whole as all it needs is an engine really. I've seen something else I want so its priced to sell complete.

I will deffo take the shell mate. As soon as I get rid of my black GT, hopefully very soon! If you want a deposit mate let me know.

What comes with the shell mate? Body panels? Wiring looms? Suspension? Interior trims? What year is it also?

Got the mrs to go down to the pet shop yesterday while I was at work. They told her to use some polystyrene insulation on the outside of the viv, I managed to find some stuff on B&Q website pretty cheap so I will give that a go. They also said that the wood chippings were supposed to be pretty good at holding in the heat and humidity, and was best to mix it with some eco earth. I'm not a fan of the eco earth stuff but I suppose its worth a shot.

If this is still here once I sort out a new daily I'll take it, although it probably won't be at that price!
