    that is the correct way. after rebuilding my engine I put it all back together and mine was leaking along the front I think there a shit design where they go around the oil way turned out my headgasket was faulty so managed to get another one under warranty and was fine then.

    im glad you have sorted the whistling noise. I have got a new throttle body gasket to try on mine. ive thought about doing the same with my boost pipes so illuminate leaks but not sure were to get it down. can you post a pic up when you have got them

    seems like we have 2 different faults was hoping you had the same fault as mine ha. as mine seems to boost fine and hold pressure fine just a annoying whistling noise. it least you no yours is related to something around the inlet as it was fine before hopefully new gasket sorts it especially if it was damaged

    mine only makes the noise when boosting. both of them pipes on the throttle body I have blocked off on mine as that is where the carbon canister and air con pipe went on mine.

    ive had that annoying whistle on mine for a while it really pisses me off. im going to try a throttle body gasket when I find the time so would be good to know if you get to the bottom of yours. it holds boost fine though does it. by the way im running a standard inlet manifold don't want people thinking its to do with the wepr manifold.

    looks a good bit of kit. your whistling noise you have got does it sound like just behind the dash and only when boosting.
