Is a map sensor required? Or can I just use the standard one on the car already?

you can use the stock map sensor but if you are planning to run high boost/power then the GT4 map sensor is your best option, if I remember correctly the EP map sensor is 1.1bar sensor and the gt4 is 1.8bar sensor

  2. You can use a map sensor off a celica gt4. It has the same housing and connectors as the starlet map sensor so its plug and play but the tuner will have to scale it accordingly. The only difference on the sensor is the gt4 has a purple sticker instead of orange like the EPs. Bargain at £350

Well well well, it seems I have delved into my youth!

I used to have a starlet many moons ago when Dave Burwash & wepr started out and now I'm back, with a Glanza.

I guess things have changed a little, but even so, hello to all!

Welcome back. Starlet withdrawal is a real mental health issue

The worst thing is they ask for advice and end up doing exactly what you tell them not to do

  5. facebook is full of idiots who aint got a clue about the cars we all love, I call them the starlet killers, I know a local lad whos very active on the FB pages and he has gone through 4-5 engines in less than 3 years and 2-3 gearboxes on very little power, I refuse to sell parts to him lol

  6. Best way to keep your rear calipers in good working order, dont use the handbrake for prolonged periods of time especially during freezing tempretures When you park up keep the handbrake down and leave the car in gear.
