Is a map sensor required? Or can I just use the standard one on the car already?
you can use the stock map sensor but if you are planning to run high boost/power then the GT4 map sensor is your best option, if I remember correctly the EP map sensor is 1.1bar sensor and the gt4 is 1.8bar sensor

You can use a map sensor off a celica gt4. It has the same housing and connectors as the starlet map sensor so its plug and play but the tuner will have to scale it accordingly. The only difference on the sensor is the gt4 has a purple sticker instead of orange like the EPs. Bargain at £350

Well well well, it seems I have delved into my youth!
I used to have a starlet many moons ago when Dave Burwash & wepr started out and now I'm back, with a Glanza.
I guess things have changed a little, but even so, hello to all!
Welcome back. Starlet withdrawal is a real mental health issue

You wont be able to use a ORC clutch with a standard flywheel i dont think
thats correct, iirc the stock flywheel has 6 bolts for the clutch where as the orc has 9
-
I use the same clutch on my ep91. No issues at all i doubt very much the flywheel is going to warp on these clutches

Best way to keep your rear calipers in good working order, dont use the handbrake for prolonged periods of time especially during freezing tempretures When you park up keep the handbrake down and leave the car in gear.

I got rid of the zep ecu ages ago. Engine will be ran in with the stock ecu on td04 hybrid before i get a standalone. Not chasing silly power anymore. Drivability and a wide powerband is the aim
