HKS or a Tuning developments adjustable actuator and set the spring to .7 bar and your fuel cut issue should disappear. When the boost creeps to .85 bar you will hit fuel cut. As soon as you add new breathing mods to a starlet running the small but brilliant ct9 it begins to creep and hit fuel cut. Not a nice feeling.

Lack of update - update. So I got myself a nice race spec rocker setup just before going away on holiday. Here it is fitted New gasket, washers, spark plug oil seals etc.. Happy with that. Found it was leaking slightly so nipped the nuts up a little ( I had already done them to 7nm as recommended) and snapped one of the cam cap studs. BASTARD. Got one sorted whilst I was away from mike@TuningDevelopments who kindly sent it out to me ready for me getting home. I've had to take the spacers off for the moment until I can get my rear arches flailed and rolled and also get myself some aftermarket wings for the front. HOWEVER. I will be honest. I have been thinking about selling it. Not sure what it is as I don't really have an Itch for another car. I was thinking about maybe a GT or even another white glanza. Unsure. Who knows!!

I am no where near you but which car did you buy and who off? Sounds like someone couldn't wait to get rid of the thing sadly. Post up the for sale ad from wherever you bought it. I'm guessing you checked all the fluid levels before you bought it.

Just to let you know.. I know the seller and he's a decent lad. He's currently on holiday for two weeks. He no longer has a starlet and sells bits from other cars too. I'm sure there is a simple explanation for this as he would never purposely rip anyone off. I'll try and get in contact with him and let him know.

Exactly. I've had 3 starlets now. None forged. I love mine TD04 @ 1 bar sounds awesome and is so fun to drive... If I was going forged at any point then it would be for that magic 300bhp haha!!!

I've ran 240 for well over a year on EMB stock 4efte no problem
