If you cant afford to insure is as a Glanza V or a GT Turbo then yes, wait. Its very likely that your best quote will be with either Sky, Adrian Flux or Green Light. These companys deal with lots of imported vehicles and can offer good prices when it comes too it. You have to remember that the best cover may not always be the cheapest cover. At the end of the day its your pride and joy or it is with a lot of members on here.

im with adrian flux... by far the best quote i had. 22 4ync £680 as a Glanza all mods declared. That was on my old V with blitz ecu, mani, exhaust, wheel, decat, filter, varis kit, suspension, brakes EVERYTHING on the insurance. Whatever you do dont insure it as a 1.3 N/A starlet (sportif or CD etc)... If you have an accident or someone claims on you or a copper is clued up. Your insurance is void. Doing this then puts all of our insurance up because more and more bellends that cant drive or treat their car like a smoke machine and crash. Rant over, Matt ps. Welcome to UKSO

Just a heads up on the decat... I know they are rock solid and very highly rated for the CT9 however they just dont seem to be fetching what they used too. Id say £85-£100 is a more realistic figure in today's market

Its not John no... I did look at that several times during the time that my S14 was for sale however I didnt make an inquiry due to me not having any funds for the car. The day I posted on here about looking for a starlet, a member contacted me about a car that they have for sale that was close too my budget... Drew's GT is s stunning car no doubt. Without giving too much away, the car offered is close to exactly what I was looking for

Arranged to go and view a starlet on Tuesday from a VERY well known Starleteer.... After some good conversation and chat about the car I am very confident it will be coming home with me. Leave you all too ponder and guess what exactly but.... I'M HAPPY

So far over my budget mate.. Would be a shame too buy this as its known for its livesports front and wide wheels.. I'd be taking the bumper off straight away, hate livesports. If someone has the budget for a fully forged glanza though.. This is your car.
