Got the new rims on and the rollcage in :)

What's the suspension you're swapping from Mark and will it fit my sportif? -
Me at JAE a few years back. Not the greatest pic by any means.
-
Why any of you young'uns would want to talk to lil old me i don't know, but here it is. jaguarbreeder@hotmail.com
-
What fuel are you running it on?
-
Bit extreme, but not bad at all, just be very careful what colour everything else around it is, could go either way for the big picture. Definitley post up pics of them fitted too.
-
Done.

It's a lot quieter than i was expecting though, next step is to de-cat it which will hopefully give a bit more grumble back but without adding too much volume. Not really on imoc much nowadays, it's gone downhill since i left, lol.

Latest update: Got the new exhaust sorted out today, the custom one that was on it was just TOO loud so managed to source this little beauty. I've lost the nice burble i had with the custom one, but now i don't get a headache when driving for more than 5 minutes. Plus i like the authenticity of having a proper TTE part. Still no news on a power figure though i'm afraid.
-
Will do, cheers.

I'd love to mate, but it's more than i want to be paying and coilovers are too much for uk roads in my opinion, certainly round here.
-
Only seem to list coilovers but thanks anyway, it's a site worth saving.
-
I'm after some new shocks, can only afford the rears for now but do need them soon as the n/s isn't doing much and the o/s has blown and isn't doing a thing. I don't want to go to coilovers, but would like some adjustability if possible. I've found the KYB's on fensport but is there a cheaper place to get them or some adjustable ones?

As Idrees says mate, i had it laying around so i thought why not. There's no way i would have spent out on it just for the starlet if i didn't already have it. No news on a power figure as yet as i'm still trying to get a laptop connected to it to get the injector duty cycle figure from it so the power figure can be calculated.
-
Don't get it from halfords, they charge a fortune for the stuff. Go to partco or similar instead. I can get 4.5lts of the millers stuff for under £25 though.
-
Not changed it in the starlet yet, but i always insisted on millers crx in the mr2. Better than redline and a third of the cost.
-
Can't wait to see all this when it's done. ;)

Can you identify the brand of locking wheel nut?
Mark Edwards replied to NightSpirit's topic in Lifestyle General
Mark, the easiest way to get those type out is stick the ends of a pair of long nosed pliers into the holes and using another pair of pliers or mole grips on the first pair, twist. If it's not done up too tight you should find it'll come off hopefully. -
Privyet. ;)
-
Yes they are is the easy answer.
-
Ha ha ha, to be honest i think they would look good on a plain black or white car, but not on yours. The starlet green is too fancy a colour to pull off such extreme coloured wheels. Just my opinion.
-
You volunteering to ask then Mr Wings??
-
Interesting question. I doubt it, i emailed them last week to see if they still had any laying around and that was a no. Might be worth asking if they have the mould though, you never know.
-
Shame, i know someone who is amazing when it come to making fibreglass copies of bits. But i can't say i blame you.
-
It'll probably be left in the garage to gather dust. I need to cut off the mounts to weld onto the tte box unless i can find something else to use instead.
