Once in my old polo. Had to use a door stop to prise the top of the door open and a bit of parcel strap around the lock pin. Then i was fitting up a tailgate on a rangey sport sat on the keys in the boot and as i closed the boot to check fitment the lights flashed and my heart sunk.
The plan is to plumb it in to my current engine to get them set up and running nice. Then im ripping that engine out and putting them on that engine in the picture with a few choice mods. Im not hunting for big power gains as i know thats not possible with itbs. Just something unique
Trade plates dont cover you for MOT only tax. I work for a big dealership and we had a big memo go round a few months ago saying trade plates dont cover mot. Anyway, i only wanted to drive to the garage to get it undersealed cuz i cba to lay on my gravel drive under axle stands
Postie sposed to be bringing me a parcel, i need to go get some tools but dont wanna miss the delivery as nearest post office is 10 miles the other way :/
I kno you can drive a car to the mot station with no ticket as long as its booked in. But what about taking it from home to another garage for repairs?
I did think as much. I know starlet scene isnt half the size of the honda scene but they have like b series tuning books. Which would probably be the only book i would ever read cover to cover through choice of my own if they did a starlet/glanza
Picked myself up a gem of a 106 diesel the other day. Which puts me in the position of being able to put the SR into hibernation after 3years of ringing its neck off. Ive always wanted to boost it and here is my chance to make a start. Now i ask you all. Is there a glanza graveyard anywhere? Looking for a write off so i can just swap the lot over. The only place i can think of is those jap performance parts guys with the rb powered scooby.
This started as a classic car and bike meet at a pub in a village called Ashby Folville near Melton Mowbray many moons ago and has blossomed into nearly filling two fields. I went last year and keep forgetting about it but its the second tuesday of every month. Plenty of variety always there. Just thought id share with you guys incase you ever fancied it.
