Awesome. Im not a painter, but I've done a few bumpers and wings in my time. A friend of mine purchased the proper plastidip gun and a tin of matt black to paint some sort of old school furniture. Seriously tempted to do my sr some wacky colour...
Has anyone had ago at painting anything on a large scale with this stuff? I've done a few small things, but my real question is, how easy does it come off, are you left with flakey bits etc or does it really peel off like a vinyl?
Are you thinking shiny as in paintwork shiny or polished shiny? I used matt black solvent then used a flat block to sand the paint from the embossed areas.
When it was in that 96 spec in the pic up top we drove down to ace cafe and then around surrounding areas and managed the whole night without getting pulled. But yeah, no lights on that side ;)
Its goin on the car im going to japfest in, if you wanna come have a look/chat, we will be behind the car on the civiclife stand, cooking bacon sarnies drinking tea in the morning
£120 per wheel!!! Id like to think theyll put real gold flake in the paint for that price! Going rate is 50-60 quid per wheel, im doing some on the side for 35 per wheel! Nice SR tho bud, i wanted a black one originally but a silver once come up right time at the right price.
I like the idea, I understand its a w.i.p so its gonna look out of place, if I was you I woulda waited till getting canards at least before fitting. Id like to see this end up with a big rear diffuser.
Ive got an ace up my sleeve. Id like to take your old n/a front bumper. Why? Because its cluttering up space around your garage and cant seem to get rid. Not too fussy on condition or colour(just not butchered or broken) will come collect it aswell.
I bet thats a peugeot 207 front splitter. looks the right one just fixed on at a different angle. Totally love this car, wish i had the kno how and the patience to do something like this. Hope to see it at japfest.
