  4. yeahh, not salvageable so im glad i didnt waste my time in buying forged pistons etc, just looking for the full lump now
  5. ive been wanting some carbon things for a while now, i spoke to dean about stuff that was posted many months ago and nothing has become of it but give people there chance as the site has been on and off, myself i did lose interest in the site untill i knew it was up properly so it may take a while for things to pick up again. just my view on it

Not much progress because of the weather and other issues ive had to deal with i.e my other car first got the front bumper off to make more room to remove the engine underneath from the car instead of out the top And a few little goodies santa brought me Domo Hat (love it) Hks Oil filter Blitz resevoir socks Orange Toyota battery bar Carbon fibre battery cover (second item to the carbon build) Domo t shirt and the carbon eye brows + the rest engine and gearbox is now out! Next is to buy a forged lump and to clean the engine bay plus possibly spray the gearbox up etc to make it
  7. not that engine but hoping to buy a forged lump then build this engine back up as a little something on the side to do , need sell the n/a first tho so i need to see what christmas will bring and see how much money i can rack up etc
  8. Been a while as the bad weather has come and not having the time to do anything but have a few little bits. A little something that came in the post On the n/a also Needed a few bits removing so it was to a bare block, Alternator off which was filthy Out. Not Happy Getting there It'll do

Slight update, Since the cars off the road ive thought to myself i might aswel concentrate on giving a bit of tlc with other bits and the engine is going to be a while yet so i lacquered my strut brace and inlet. Alot better than it was before and before it still looked good. Inlet Another snap at the block (check out piston1...shiney due to hitting valves ) Close up Piston on an angle valves bent And again Cylinder 1's piston at the bottom without even turning the engine but just tapping the top of piston....Ooooooops! Removed my wipers as i thought they were looking tir

  15. well thanks haha , yeahh i think they are hex 9 multisplined , looks like im going to have to get one from Halfrauds. Priced one up today at a local Snap On dealer and it was about £15 just for the 3/8 H9 bit "/ !... No Thankyou!
