  1. Looks awesome! by the way were did you get that carbon spoiler from...want want want! , how did it handle with the meisters on because arnt they road coilovers ?
  2. My car is now back on the road it wasnt the release bearing at fault it was that the previous owner who had a new clutch and lsd put in the gearbox had not tightened all the bolts up connecting the engine and bellhousing together properly. One bolt was completely missing and one bolt with less than finger tight, so i put a new bolt in and tightened the other bolt up (FT) and started the car up and pressed the clutch....Bingo no more noise! it was making the squeeling/scraping noise because the gearbox had moved slightly and the fly wheel was scraping on a metal plate on the gearbox bell ho

  9. well that lasted long, was perfectly enjoying my car when yesterday i put my car down my drive, half an hour later i went to reverse out my drive, put my foot down on the clutch and this horrible squeeling/scraping sound appeared ;) slowly reversed it out my drive and took it up the street, car drives fine but the sound isnt healthy, all last night i was up looking for the answer, didnt really get a definate answer were someone has experience this kinda noise before but the majority thought it was the clutch release bearing. took the car to a local garage today and the guy said the same, so

  14. parked my glazna on my drive and it was all fine and dandy about half hour later i went to reverse from my drive, put the clutch down and a horrible squeeling/scraping sounds appeared so i came of the clutch pedal and the noise went away :S put the car in reverse pretty quickly and reversed and drove up my street, the car moves fine but it only makes that noise when the clutch is being pressed down. anyone know what this could be? ive heard its a release bearing thats failed and also the flywheel/crank bearing that has failed?

  18. Sure do ;), also need to send me that code, yeahh too right ! The previous owner said it had electronical coilovers on the front but the wires had been cut :S cheers, yeahh i do like the starlet scene, people on here are helpful etc so its win win, i have tried to get him on here but he said he cant really get his head round the forum and also he thought people would mug him of a bit since its basically someones finished project he has bought.
