  1. found the problem, ignitor was not earthing correctly/efficiently
  2. that video was pretty good tbh , wouldnt mind doing something like that
  3. new flywheel does sound like a good idea as you shoudnt be going through starter motors like that.
  4. Engines in etc, still no spark and ive done many tests and checks so im lead to beleive its only the coil left to blame, shall be ordering one and fingers crossed .. Bought a few things recently.. New carbon blitz gauge + pod Compared to old one Some Stickers i bought at fast show And my favorite one is this one.. ... i shall be moving my tax disc

  7. just done an engine stransplant as my old engine spat its dummy out (smashed the conrod to bits) the new engine is in and all connected up, there is fuel as i can see it (clear fuel lines) going through the injector rail, to the fpr and back throught the return pipe. i have removed my plugs and there is fuel going to each cylinder. ive turned the car over with a plug earthing out on the engine.. no spark ive removed the king lead and earthed that out also... no spark so am i right in thinking that the coil pack has packed up and is not producing a spark?

Well ive been busy over the weekend, gearbox in, oils in, pretty much everything connected Gearbox in, just misplaced a gearbox mount.. ooops Radiator in place My Mums Beetle helping the glanza out (didnt work as my battery dead and mums not very good either) Fpr.. bit high? (60psi) Pioneer Dvd i bought about 5 months ago that ive never tried out untill now Picture of speedo to prove when the new engine went in etc thats all for now.
  12. 6 months and drove nothing else as the glanza died on me

  16. im a mechanic, on my third year at college obtaining my level 3 nvq motor vehicle grade to be a qualified tech. im 18 4 days of being 19 and i work on my own car, infact ive just put a forged lump in my glanza , i do also have a job in a garage it does get a bit like that were you are just doing it because its paying the bills but this is because you get peices of crap you have to work on. My ambitions are to become a tuning specalist or something of the sort were you dont work of rotten bangers but some really nice cars that have been looked after but i would say go for it, its not bad and you learn so much

  22. nope im going to all the major shows for sure but im hoping to do a few of the starlets meets near by i.e the cleethorpes ones up to nottingham etc
