mine ran a few 13.6's but the clutch was slipping so it was quite hard to get the launch right it was td04 @1bar 230.5 on a jam p&p ecu with bald r888 tyres partially stripped with bucket seats I recon with an lsd a decent clutch and an ebc setup properly so that the boost didn't come in so aggressive and just spin the wheels I would have broke 12's eventually but that might just be me dreaming lol -
Whens it out? I might have to get an xbox one lol already want one for ufc
-
If one pops up cheap i recon ill be investing like. Its just finding one second hand though lol havenet seen any as of yet
-
So what are you suggestijg have a go at midifying one myself? Im thinking that surely the only reason for one not to work would be the throw i cant think of anything else that would be a hassle :/

-
I thought the same like i wouldnt mind been on 500 a day ;) And found the shifters for 600 notes so i suppose that takes the price down a bit still 1600 though lol could do with finding a second hand one cheap
-
Also by the time you buy the shifter and then pay for the modification your looking at 2k aanway so it seems thats the going rate for one unfortunately
-
East coast customs can modify them to fit a starlet you will need to send them the ikeya unit and it will cost £1000 for 2 days labour. So if it takes them 2 days to do it i imagine its not as easy as first thought :/
-
Yeah they are pretty cool like I would love one if I can find one at a reasonable price if not ill just give it a miss
-
keep us posted quite interesting

Cars not going to be a daily its going to be a track toy/bit of weekend fun every so often so should get away with one ill give him a shout cheers guys
-
Yeah I seen someone had mentioned that on tgtt but yet again I couldn't seem to find anything else about it other than someone mentioned that he used to run one I looked for a build thread on here and couldn't find one and the build thread on tgtt just had pics of when he initially bought the car

http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?106513-ECC-Modified-Ikeya-Sequential-Shifter-For-Toyota-Starlet&highlight=Ikeya This seems to be the only promising thing I can find over on tgtt. It seems that ECC modified one but never shown how they did it I'm presuming its because they planned on selling a couple of modified ones and making a bit of moohlah :/ Think ill drop ECC a message and see if I can get any details off them
-
Cheers man ill have a mooch now ^^^^^^^ YESSSS!

-
I found some earlier for about 900 quid I was just wondering if there's much of a fuck on trying to get them to fit a starlet or if its easy
-
Looks like they were 4 stud to start with and someone has drilled them to be 5 stud or visa versa
-
How much do you know about them ikeya shifters? Are they easy to fit i.e do you have to modify them much or is it a straight fit?
-
What kind of Rim/Tire Combo are you running for track?
jordan walker replied to TheStig's topic in Alignment & Alloys
do you have an lsd? if not I would consider one of them first or if its sole purpose is for drag racing and you don't need to live with it every day weld your diff. -
