Safe to run td04 with a plug and play ecu

I ran 1 bar on my jam on a td04 setup and it was perfect and I'll be running a sard one once my car is on the road Just before you start boosting go to your closest dyno and ask him to check make sure it's fueling ok 90% sure it will be but i wouldn't even bother if you don't plan on getting it checked -
Can't see anything about him on there but it's his Facebook name where I'm messaging him so if he was on there obviously his Facebook name would be different?

I think it might be happening to me now exactly the same a lad called Dan wants my seats he's paid for them with a girls email megan....... and wants them sending to a different address I'm trying to think of ways to cover myself any ideas? I was thinking if I can get him to send me an email from Megan's email the one that sent me the money saying she doesn't want it delivering to x address she wants it delivering to x address do you recon that would be proof enough for PayPal?

I've had a few cars now so I will only upload a couple lol Fiesta where it all started Then I swapped this lovely little low mileage reliable car for my first starlet which wasn't as reliable or as nice but God I loved it and miss it! When this broke I gave up sold her on and got myself I little 106 gti to replace it The gearbox fell out the first day I had it.. Yeah actually fell off the car apparently the previous owner thought chemical metal was better than real gearbox mounts anyway it didn't have fuck all on the starlet so.... That's two people now who have said the sandwich plate between the block and the box so that's the first place in going to check tomorrow 👍 Yeah it sounds dreadful I know haha and as for the wiper arms obviously I've took the wipers off and was scared Incase someone knocked the wiper switch in the car so I lifted them up 😄 Yeah it's on mate what you thinking like belt rubbing on the cover?

Yeah man like I said the original one was there so just assumed it was ok lol and not too much harm done apart from the alarm 🙈 doh! I stumbled across it accidentally I found a prehistoric Earth just sat chilling next to my fpr and was thinking where does this go? I started trying to make it reach places to see where it used to live and when I touched the icv it made a little spark and my friend started getting excited shouting engine light just came on haha

I've got my engine up and running and it's making this god awful noise.. I dunno what it is or how to describe it so I've uploaded a video to YouTube the link is at the bottom. I thought it was the cambelt to tight but I have loosened it a little bit and it's still made no difference any ideas? Right I've fixed it just Incase anybody runs into the same problem in the future and stumbles across this it was the earth to my ICV My original Earth was there but for what ever reason it wasn't doing its job properly I ran another Earth from the other bolt on the icv to the drivers strut and the eml came straight back on and the car was away again.

See this is what I thought adz but I've checked them :/ my friends going to have a look for me today but I'm thinking wiring to the Ecu has gone kaput somewhere I've read a few people have had the exact same fault and it's been a loose wire to the Ecu on one of the plugs so I'm going to check that today

They don't have them on glanzas mate I think they do on the n/a's

Yeah I've tried replacing relays didn't do anything I'm gunna try have another look at plugs and things like you say and check every fuse again one more time and then i think I'm going to have to send it somewhere

It can't be the pump though mate because when I do the test it primes perfect and I get fuel pressure it's only when I turn the key it doesn't so I know the fuel pump works fine :/

I'm running a sard Ecu now but I tried a standard Ecu yesterday and it did nothing and a tuning developments fpr I haven't changed anything at all since it last started? I've moved it about half a mile on a trailer but that's it The problem isn't a blockage or anything because when I bridge b+ and Ft or what ever the fuck it is my pump runs and my fuel gauge goes up to the right pressure on my fuel pressure reg So it's obviously a wiring issue that's all it can be but what the fuck is there on a one of these cars that can knock the pump off shot the spark out take the eml off and get rid of

Fuel pump works when I do the diagnostic test though mate and if the king lead was knackered then it still wouldn't explain why the fueling isn't working

That Earth is on and I've tried a different Ecu still no fuel pressure still no spark and still no eml :/ I'm running out of ideas I can't think of a part on the car that would cause these issues?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but why do you say exhaust valves on there own phil? Is it only nesecery to do the exhaust valves? Are they more of a restriction? Or is it just down to personal preference?

I was under the impression that they didn't have a crank sensor? And I can't think of any sensors that would stop the car getting fuel and a spark?

Had a multi meter on the earths today and they all seem to be strong I have... Battery to earth kit Earth kit to block Earth kit to body Earth kit to box Earth kit to body again Body to block So I don't think it will be the earths unless I'm missing one somewhere? I tested the little one that goes from the fuel pump wiring to the uprights in the dash aswell and that seemed fine
