The controller is going with a SSARD fuel pressure regulator etc.. You would need to control your boost otherwise your just pop the engine..
-
Didn't you have a fault actautor? I remember reading in the past about it. I am basically going to setup the actuator, and use the boost controller to tweak it. It's a cheaper way than mapping etc. But your are correct.
-
A manual boost controller will lower your boost thus preventing fuel cut and the spikes if you lower it until will not be dangerous. I've done massive reading this morning into the ins and outs of it. I would suggest an adjustable actuator too along with the controller and your problems would be solved..?
-
Taken note. Hopefully it should be okay given its 82,000 Kilometres. I will definately do so.

Planing to run a TD04 under fuel cut on low boost. Basically dont want to spend money on stopping fuel cut/boot creep on the CT9 setup. I understand i need a bung welded for the wideband. It will be on standard ECU until i decide to up boost and get emanage.
-
Also the wideband do i need to get this welded into my exhaust then?

Hmm, It looks like one of the things i cant claw back money on. Whats your opinions on fuel pressure regulators. the SSARD is £85 but plenty out there for £30 with all the fitting kit and hoses included.. etc..

Hi, Going TD04 within 2 months. Basically starting to buy whats needed. Mikey recommended this wideband to monitor the air/fuel ratio. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/INNOVATE-MTX-L-AFR-Wideband-8-ft-Air-Fuel-Ratio-Gauge-3844-/300976513292?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item461399210c I'm just wondering is there a slightly cheaper alternative, or is it imperative i use this one as its renowned to be the best or good etc..?

Hero! Ill snap one of these up unless someone has a used one!

So over the last few evenings I have been doing odds and sods to the car. Gave it an oil change. Old stuff wasnt the nicest colours, fresh oil and it's definitely made a difference. The main update is I fitted a CT9 Decat. What a pain to fit. Really, I hated every minute of it. I decided that I would leave everything in place, that was my main mistake! Not enough access, just make it awkward and annoying to tighten the bolts to the decent amount. Anyway! Got there in the end, happy with the result, made a massive difference in spool time and the sound is MUCH louder. I also had some old
