Was it overbored when getting rebuilt ? Idealy you want to do a 'leak down test' for this you would need a compressed air supply. Basically lets you know how much and where gas is escaping from in the engine, ie past the bores or through the valves if theyre not sealing correctly. Theres a bit more to it than that but you get the idea. The engine builders should have donw this before handing you your engine back.
Another thread lol. Things to check, fan relay and wiring to the fan switch sensor/sensor itself on the thermostat housing. Get the multimeter out and do some continuity checks The AC sensor is only to do with GTs yes.
Right first of all wheres the pics of your new Glanza, christ sakes you rookie. This homemade shifter might be messing up the throw maybe ?, id put it back to normal just to see. Failing that it'll probably be the old syncro job :/ There is a rod at the the top of the clutch pedal iirc to adjust out the freeplay.
I personally wouldnt run an ebay exhaust. Put up a wanted thread or look through the sales section for a nice Jap system, like the makes we have mentioned Blitz, HKS, R*SR, 5zigen etc.
Maybe its dear because people dont insure them right, something happens like a crash and insurance wont pay out because it wasnt insured right, therefore putting everyones insurance up. Dont get me wrong buddy i fucking hate insurance and its the biggest fucking scam going but all cars should be properly insured.
It the alarm sapping power over night and killing the battery ? Mind it is cold so a weak battery will die quick in winter. Does is start first time with jump leads on ?
Buy this backbox and take it to them. And they'll make up the rest of the pipes. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/72413-blitz-nur-spec-r-backbox/ And it'll sound better than some tin can they'll supply. I assume anyway
Was it Gerry's car ? If so he made a thread about it. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/71443-big-problem-oil-all-came-out-breather-hose-on-top-of-rocker-cover/
Might not be the earth reading your post again, but worth a try. Its right in the corner in the bay, where the washer bottle is if you dont have ABS or if you do its still in the same place but its infront of the ABS pump. Easy to see, 10mm bolt through it.
