It was a 98 spec FTE i blew up aswell, i put it in my old GT to get it up and running. I didnt even bother to strip it down because it was catastrophic, rod right through the sump lol. TD04 @ a bar on a Mines P&P.

There are a few different types of 5zigen systems, most common being the pro-racer zz i reckon which has a serious jap angle on it. One i have is a border 304 which sounded fucking brutal on my GT. Sorry not for sale though :/

When using an EWG with no EBC you connect a vacuum line from the turbo to the EWG, leave the other port (on top of the wastegate) to atmosphere. Then the spring inside the EWG controls the boost. And just leave your DV line connected to the inlet as it was before. Hope that makes sense lol.
