I had a little bit of time to work on this today, nothing exciting, just removed stuff from the bay. I also fitted the front shocks/lowering springs which brought the front down a little, still sits high but it is a 4WD haha. Im wondering about the panhard rod, does anyone know if its different to a GT one ? Got a feeling it will be. Also, next time i start this up it'll be under turbo power, cant wait

I agree with Addy, my daily is a 2.5L Legacy and thats far cheaper to insure than other cars with less CC, a Glanza for example.

Sound man, i didnt even get a chance to get the box off today, managed to get the exhaust off though. Also got a pair of OZ and rainsports. And this is the clutch thats going in, not new but as good as Also took a few pics of the underside which i'll stick in a seperate thread. Cheers, Dan.

I've recently seen a couple of threads where people have been asking about 4WD conversions, so i was doing a bit of work to mine today and thought i'd throw a few pics up to show the underside of an 85. Sorry these pics arent very clear, and exhaust has been removed. And to all the *5 gurus, if you would like to identify specific parts, or have any more info/pics etc. then please include it/them, i'm still not as clued up on the system as i'd like to be ;)

And thought they would all need done Dave, the bottom bits were in worse nick than i remembered. It'll look amazing when its all finished but If i get round to it today i'll get this gearbox off to fit my new clutch/flywheel combo
