  1. I'll keep as much carat as i can stand lol, i'd like a Glanza number plate surround on the carat boot but i dont know if its possible. Theres also chrome everywhere, like around the windscreen and along the bottom of the outer door sills. The N/a headlights are not my thing, theyre defo getting swapped. And i know mate, there seems to be a lack of imagination sometimes on here, thats why i like reading the foreign guys build threads, they do things a bit differently Also did some searching and found a pic of that 25th anniversary edition starlet thing i was on about, i own the 2nd ugliest 91 it seems. Toyota actually made this lol. http://i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac82/toy-turbo/600x450-2009051300031.jpg
  2. I like your thinking Toby, its a bit different i suppose and i wont be able to see it from the inside Have you seen the 25th edition carat / jag thing ? Oh ya fucker its a ugly little runt of a car !! Shorty, that was the plan in the first place, i was chatting to Geo about a 95 but his site is down so i dont know whats going down. I have cash sitting here for a 4paw, any on your radar atm ? Well i have this carat now so i best do something with it.
  3. Kwik fit do them mate
  4. Yes, donut looking thing Mine had split and fallen down to the outer CV, i had a judder, i seen this, i bonded it back in place for a temp measure, job was a gooden.
  5. Slowly convincing me haha, i had that in the GT, it looked pants because it was like 4 different colours lol and went screaming past evos and all sorts. Folk givin me proper evils because my back garden built car was pumping their 'tuned cars' Im going to look at a V tomorrow, so it can be sacrificed... so if its all good i'll take it early next week.
  6. Stop being a pussy If you look in this thread you'll see a clear pic of the driveshafts and then you'll know exactly what i mean. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/59832-breaking-gt-loads-of-parts-for-sale-more-to-be-added/ Just have a check and see if yours looks worn.
  7. Ohh right then well im just a vehicle technician, what would i know, silly me for suggesting that an unbalanced driveshaft would cause a steering judder. By all means keep doing what your doing. Am just giving you a suggestion as you did ask.
  8. Check this, http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/33396-jdm-exhaust-identifier/?hl=%2Bjdm+%2Bexhaust+%2Bidentifier
  9. You have to be a para to miss it man !! I dont have a pic actually. It looks like a mini donut around the shaft
  10. A duno Toby, it looks balls lol. Defo staying carat rear, with a spoiler on the carat boot though. The rear bumper needs some sort of lip but i cant use a Glanza rear bumper because the rear lights wont fit. You can come down for it when you finish your SR haha. Bring Dave so he can get my Advance trims
  11. On the longer shaft, NS one, there is a sort of rubber ring thing around the shaft, the rubber bush can wear, or fall down, and cause the shaft to become unbalanced, giving a judder at speed. Worth a check at least
  12. Im still unsure on how i want it to look tbh. Front is defo going though !! Unsure if the tints are optional, its says UV something on them so im guessing no. Paul, why the fuck would you disgrace your car with a carat bumper lol ? I hopefully picking up a Glanza soon so i can start doing stuff to things.
  13. Sure i said this in one of your other threads, what condition are your driveshafts in, balancer still intack, not fallen off ?
  14. Waiting on a reply from someone, but in the meantime... Bump.
  15. If you loosten the hub nut then there WILL be excessive play even if you have a good bearing ?? Up and down play in the wheel, without un doing bolts, will normally determine a wheel bearing. Also a rumbling or droning noise when spinning the wheel.
  16. Dont say that Shorty, if my bottom end goes (the car obv) then your jinxed it haha. Yeah the B18 VTI aerodeck wagons are nice, also the K24 Accord wagons too.
  17. They are the future, once all the breakers cannibleise all the ones on here we'll have to turn to the old folk for the right good examples. They'll smell like charity shops inside but..
  18. Yeah thats the exact one i seen a few times. Ano man GTs are awesome ay ? Especially silver ones.
  19. This is how it stands, abandoned in a corner. And to answer my own question in the thread title.... No, it really wasnt haha.
  20. Yeah it would be a pain in the hole. I'll get a proper immobiliser wired in when i manage to find a donor Glanza. Also i took a pic of the horrible wee carat, i'll upload it the now. The front is defo getting changed, i canny stand it haha !!
  21. Fire up a few pics then Craig I didnt even know it was for sale.
  22. Not a bush but having new ball joints is a good place to start, takes the floaty feeling out the steering. Fire, hammer & chisel will get most of them out. Or a press if you have one to hand. Also the use of a bench vice. For the bushes i mean ^^
  23. Right so i'm looking to buy a donor Glanza V to convert a N/a i recently bought. It has to be a manual V, preferably in Scotland but not a major issue if its not. Anything considered, rear end damage or off the road etc. Would need it to be mostly complete and a running car is preferred. Bodywork doesn't have to be mint either. Standard or lightly modded, and idealy white but any colour considered. Let me know please
  24. Its pointless, why bother ?? Lol, kidding man. It has actually been done, it was a company that done it iirc. It got swapped into a yellow Glanza. When equipped with a turbo the B series is a weapon.
  25. Shaun, if its the decat you bought off me at Japfest you mean then i would be shocked if anyone tried to charge you anymore than 10-15 quid tops. It has a hairline crack and would take all of 5 mins to repair. Fact.
