  1. Item Condition: Used HKS EVC 4, has some light scratches but is working 100% Price & Conditions: £125 + postage Item Description: I had this EVC 4 running in the starlet and is working 100% Come with a copy of all the instructions is pretty easy to set up. The E VC I've is a user-friendly, full-featured digital electronic boost controller that utilizes a precision "closed-loop" boost regulating stepping motor. Stepping motors are used because they can handle higher boost levels and are quicker to react to various conditions, thus offering quicker boost response and higher stable boost levels throughout each gear. The HKS EVC I've can correct the signal to the wastegate several times each second, thus allowing a more rapid boost rise without overboosting. A built-in "Fuzzy Logic" program will learn the base boost curve and optimizes it for maximum response and stable boost. For instances where "Fuzzy Logic" is not applicable, it can be bypassed during initial setup. Via an illuminated knob on the headunit, the EVC I've is adjustable up to 2.5bar (36.25psi) of boost pressure and incorporates a real time digital boost and vacuum display for precise boost calibration and monitoring. 1-Touch "High" and "Low" boost level presets allow for multiple settings to accommodate for varying power needs. For extra boost, the scramble boost feature will add a users specified amount of boost over the current boost setting for a preset duration between 1-30 seconds. An optional remote scramble boost trigger is available to supplement the trigger button on the headunit for Scramble Boost activation. A built-in visual and audible overboost warning feature will revert boost levels to baseline if boost levels exceed the warning level entered by the user. To prevent losing all valuable data and presets, each EVC has flash memory to retain all settings and presets if power is ever removed from the unit. 2. Spotted this over on driftworks if anyone is local the bridgestones might be nice wheels: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale-private-sales/179758-free-4x100-alloy-wheels-8-em-some-tyres-6-em-bloody-light-weight.html
  3. Some people slate them but i've never had a problem with the exeddy paddle clutches and i know Dave B always swore by them and used them on all his cars.
  4. there is/was a tom's scoop on the yahoo auctions
  5. He thought about breaking but never did as far as i know strange he has removed his build threads though, i know he did have it broken into a while back maybe thats why he has deleted them
  6. They did have a stand at Japfest last year if your going and can wait that long
  7. Those should be good as they are steel so sould be a lot harder that the alloy ones so will not strip the threads
  8. They are a copy of the Project Kics wheen nuts i'd be a bit wary of the quality of them. Think i'm going to try some from TPI next they seem to do a good range and brand them as there own not as a copy of a more expensive brand.
  9. Depending on when i'll try and come along
  10. TD is tuning developements http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/
  11. Bump still got this, will be at Japshow sunday if the weather is ok please let me know if your interested and you want me to bring this along
  12. Payment details sent, thanks Steve i was lucky to get the strutt top caps froms Ed when he broke his car as they were missing from mine most of the ones you see are missing bits.
  13. Think i have a hot pipe lol Might be worth sticking a thread up with the mods listed and what you need to return to stock you might get some fair part ex offers then
  14. Bump still have this £115 delivered.
  15. Take a pics of the rods if you look at the pictures stock rods: Forged rods:
  16. Drop the sump and have a look at the rods would be easy to tell then. Dave did used to sell those rockers as a seperate item but there was very few sold and those that were usually went on the full forged engine builds.
  17. No sorry was just that bit left in one of the cars i broke for parts
  18. That bit bolts under the handbrake cover plastic, then the plasic bracket screws to it as can be seen in this pic: http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/qq158/chicco1989/IMG_1149.jpg
  19. Is that what you are after thats the lower bracket if so i have one.
  20. All depends on how they were converted to MPH. If they are done with a speedo convertor on the gearbox then this removes the speed cut to if the speedo goes up 180 it will have a convertor, if it was done by a MPH dial being fitted to the speed clocks (cheap ass way to do things) they will only rear up to 110 ish and you will seed hit speed cut.
  21. That JAM bonnet is ace and worth every penny if i had an EP82 it would be sold by now.
  22. Something must have moved for it to be able to do that, wheel bearing, lower ball joint?
  23. They will be the same as OEM mate KYB are the OEM ones but these will be the same spec as the OEM ones
  24. What about Monday? Forcast is much better
