if your using an electronic boost controller and nothing is working, its most likley the stepper motor for the controller thats the problem. Try running the car on actuator pressure by just putting the vac pipe from the compressor housing into the actuator, then see if it creeps.

my car was freshly sprayed a year ago so ill give toyota visit, cheers
-
its done by rotating the distributer, as far as in aware.
-
Sounds interesting, take it you just cut the ignition spark for a second and it bangs?
-
im pretty sure its a cauliflower....
-
OK probably best to take it to a dyno then lol Ive got it set running 11.2 afr from full boost to 11.4 at redline. Would you say this is a bit rich or just right? Running 99 octane. Cheers

Running my car on standard ecu and SFC, wondering if I should have the timing retarded to run 1bar. Afrs are sweet and car goes well, just thinking about making it run safer. If so, how much? Cheers

decent cable ties lol

Sorry for all the questions lately, just trying to get the car perfect. A while ago i noticed that my O2 sensor has no effect on the car when plugged in or unplugged, i replaced it with a new one and there was no change. Today i installed a SFC Hyper R, it has RICH/LEAN monitor, so you splice into the O2 wire on the ecu harness. It just constantly says LEAN, which makes me think that there is a break between the O2 and ECU. Is it just a single wire straight to the sensor? If so could i just run a new wire and fix it into the Harness and connect it to the sensor? Cheers

Hey can anyone tell me which bit on the Diagnostic port is the IG-, its the rpm signal. Thanks
-
yea should be fine, just wanted to know what % to start at so i dont hit cut while tuning, and do some damage

Anyone fancy coming to a Rolling Road day? My Brother has got one organised on the RS2000-16v Owners club, and said i could see if anyone on here is up for it too. It will be the Saturday the 18th May, and will be meeting at around 8am outside Halfords Braehead, then driving through to AVA. £25/30 - 2wd/4wd 3 Runs and Printout (TBC)

the safc and sfc hyper both work by reducing the map signal, which in turn reduces fuel, the map signal is what triggers fuel cut same as an fcd, so you compensate with rrFPR
-
Anyone used an SAFC to remove fuel cut? Been doing some "maths" and thinking that i will need to -15% from each rpm point after full boost at least. Worked this out by calculating that an HKS fcd at setting 8, brings 5v down to rougly 4.2v. Which is a 15% decrease. Make sense?

Lean at idle thats strange, should be rich due to the higher base pressure
-
Going to be installing a Fields SFC Hyper R soon. It has the ability to move the speed limiter, by intercepting the Speed Signal to the ECU. In the setup instructions you have to chose either 2,4,8,16 as the Speed Pulse. Which one should i chose for the Glanza? Cheers

Just watching crash compilation and came across this, poor starlet

silver with purple wheels seems to be the cool thing these days
-
£55 fuck me sideways haha, i hope mine is the cheap one! thanks for the links, hopefully this solves the problem! cheers
-
I've removed the Fcd and put boost and fuel pressure back to standard, now when I'm pulling away and the engines under load it goes full lean until it starts to come out of vacuum.

Is this it? http://imgur.com/KS17u2N

No not had it check, I've been tuning myself with the wideband and only had power runs, I'll book it in once the fuel controller is on. Ah I think I know the CTS, on my car its unplugged because the sensor is a 1wire type but the plug onmy loom is 2 wires
