Got my turbo timer in today, only temporarily placed till I decide where to put it aha And while I was under the dash I got the alarm working finally Yeah I drive this too fast for it to be like the n/a
-
You made sure it's not leaking dude? My old n/a burnt oil on overrun, that was stem seals, why does your mate think it's bottom end related?
-
So as above, this weekend i got the aircon pulled out, civic rad in, horns in, tinted the headlights slightly and hammerited the front end Strippd down Half painted Done All back together Some horns Slightly tinted headlights Just got my turbo timer from Browner so ill be getting that fitted soon
-
Yeah I looked already the website says they've not got any in stock, will probably order when I get payed as I need service bits anyway
-
Ah right ok, strange coincidence that it was fine before, are they same as a uk spec thermostat? because obviously no parts factors will have a clue what the car is But yes I bled all the system, did used to be a mechanic a few years ago aha
-
I know it sounds like the thermostat but it's happened directly from taking the a/c out and changing the rad, fan isn't on constantly as I have the sensor out of the a/c pipe plugged in, I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it as I didn't just bridge it
-
So I pulled the air con out at the weekend and put in my civic rad, now my gt seems to get cold while driving. Gets up to temp when stood still but driving along cools it down. Never did this before so it won't be thermostat, is it to do with the sensor out of the a/c? Without it plugged in the fan was always on,. Or something else?

So i took the gt to the Isle of Wight this weekend, cant fault it never missed a beat! Used a tank and a half of fuel there back and all round the island, and im well happy with that! Couple of pics, loads more here: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/96246-gt-turbo-on-the-iow/#entry1134815 Instagram photos And got snapped by a random guy who turned out to own a gt himself aha Got some vids in a tunnel too, will upload them at somepoint. Cheers dude! Only cosmetics in the near future will be wheels Yeah will be getting a livesports rep in the future! I don

Took the gt to the Isle of Wight for a 5 day weekend away, took my mates camera, these are the best of the frankly shitload of photos me and the misses took And a couple the misses edited

Yeah I nearly bought a set of 15x8 et10s, had to re think after my temp wheels wouldn't stop scrubbing, my 7j et30 Slipstreams still scrub, did you roll the arches or cut the lip off?
-
Well glad I never bought them et10s now aha! Think I'm gonna end up with 15x7 grids tbh! See my thread in the club members bit tris?
-
Well I'm jealous aha! As above, how's it drive? I've always thought bags would ruin handling
-
That was probably me aha
-
Yeah mate it was, does it move? Looks like it's in the exactly the same place as the last time I was over here
-
Trying to see what width and offsets you can get away with on ep82's, need to decide what wheels to buy! Preferably lowered gts with 7s or above with et30 or less if possible!

On a driveway, anyone on here?

***Big Spec Starlet / Glanza Parts For Sale***

How hard would it be to put the turbo timer in a gt? -
Tein fronts with helpers out, d2 rears.
-
I think you should do whatever the hell you want with it aha!
-
So ive got it looking nice again, just such a shame that slipstreams have such a turd offset, they look lost in the srches Also, i recorded the boost gauage on the way to work, its quite hard to record mind! At what boost is fue cut meant to kick in? If this boost gauge is accurate im hitting over 10psi? http://vid823.photobucket.com/albums/zz156/danwethepeople/84F584DA-8989-4BF9-8719-E59F57DCDFCC_zpsaerqvroc.mp4 5th gear pull

So I finished work early today so I managed to go and get the wheels and tyres sorted out, also lowered the rear Coilovers while it was up on the ramp, matching wheels again! Just waiting on tigerseal to turn up and I'll be bonding the arch back on, and when it's not raining so I can roll the other arch Not actually sure what offset they were, it's not actually marked on te wheels surprisingly, tyres are the same yokos 195/45 Thanks john! Next bits will probably be painting or a new exhaust manifold, or a 40" tv, I haven't decided yet ahaha
-
So i took the slipstreams off ready to get them sold, whacked the wheels off the rover on it. One drive home, burnt the tyres and popped an arch trim off, just because of the offset! and the new wheels i was looking at were et10, so that went out the window, so ive decided to just keep the slips until I find a set of wheels i can run with 195's without scrubbing! Rolled the arches and its still scrubbing, Finally got it going in a straight line as it turns out kwikfit didnt actually do the tracking properly! Turns out as above, kwikfit left the wheel

I think lowering it will definitely finish it off, looks mint as mate.
