So I got the service done Friday/Saturday, oil and filter went lovely, plugs turned in to a pain when the ht leads fell apart, but I found the cause of the random smoking Managed to bodge the ht lead back together, ordered some magnecores, and I'll be ordering the gasket set for rocker cover, and the stud to replace the snapped one in the picture above. And I'll be needing a whole new line to the fuel filter, because whoever last changed it rounded the fuck out of it! Still need to do the thermostat when I get round to it Cheers man! I'm just looking forward to have sorted the issues so I can buy nice things again aha

I never thought to look in the glanza section! How do I know if i need short or long without taking it apart? Will order one when the gaskets come in stock!

Also had the ht leads fall apart, fuel line round off to the filter, crap day! I dont suppose youve got any ht leads laying about?

Got a snapped stud on the cam cover on my gt, anybody got some laying about, or know where i can get some new ones from? Also, exhaust manifold stud/nut kit!

Well i did the plugs today, and 1 and 2 were full of oil, and none of the plugs were very tight, so maybe thats what was causing the blue smoke?

Actually that reminds me, it was really bad before because the downpipes nuts had come Loose and it was blowing, stuck some nylocks on it and it went back to the normal ticking, which I've never got rid of

Na still does it, haven't actually done anything with it yet, it's a 170k engine after all I'm not surprised it taps slightly

Another shit small update, got some more dress up washers and some better quality hose to replace the cheap crap i bought previously Check the difference in colour, cheaper ones always pink!

My service pile is getting there, this is 90 quids worth aha! Still need dizzy cap and rotor arm, leads and gearbox oil, but they'll happen at a later date That's oil, Toyota oil filter, fuel filter, thermostat and iridium plugs

Gave it a good clean and a quick wax yesterday, also me and a mate made a bracket for the rear plate so now it sits tilted and isn't just a rattling around in the bumper with a bit of double sided tape on it aha!

Turbo timer fitted properly Alarms been playing up since plugging it in, kept not unlocking no sounds then wouldn't lock, found a load of these Really badly soldered wires that have all broken apart, wiring for the alarm is such a mess, like 20 feet of unnecessary wiring stuffed under the dash! Even had the misses helping out... So now they're both sorted, it's time for the boring stuff, started collecting the bits for a good service, albeit I have bought some dress up bits for the engine bay. Yeah it was alright but it was held up with a cable toe around the cowling, it had to be moved! I really wish I had a full set of them as they do look real nice on it, I will be buying new wheels after I've done the service and got a new manifold, but they won't be Rotas!

Well good news, seems to of sorted itself, maybe there was still a bit of in the system, still gonna get a thermostat when I service it mind

Got my turbo timer in today, only temporarily placed till I decide where to put it aha And while I was under the dash I got the alarm working finally Yeah I drive this too fast for it to be like the n/a
