Thats pretty much me, i did mechanica at college, started a mechanics job, now its evolved into window tinting and vinyl wrapping, i can do all of them to an extent, but im not specialist in any. I dont like it, i feel un-valued at work seen as theres a mechanic and a tinter there already!

Did a couple of bits while at work today Cleaned it finally Before After When i got the car the washer jets were poo, so, took my mist style ones outta my 106 and put em on the starlet So much better than the standard ones! Also got a little air filter heatshield off a mate, yet to sort out the cold air feed... Covex'd the side repeaters, only vosa approved and legal light tinting in the uk! And a final shot of it outside the workshop And ive started saving for the ats', should be trying on a set of 20mm spacers with the ats soon aswell. All for now!

Well its worth a try! As im not sure if you can get spacers any smaller with the studs in them? I havent the foggiest about the offset really, its gotta be low as i had the same problems when i tried a set of et0 grids on. Hmm i hope its not the discs, i only got these because they were cheaper than buying standard ones! They definately feel better now, and alot better once theyre warm, pedal still feels shit so hopefully a manual bleed will sort it out. In other news i just found out my mates got some 20mm spacers with the studs in them, so im gna test those out asap then i just gotta get a new seto of wheel nuts and i can fit the ats' when i buy em!

Haha, lemme show you what ride comfort my previous car had So, any 150 quid coilover will be like driving on a frikin cloud! But on a serious note, i do want the sportif properly on the floor as i miss being low and i havent seen a properly slammed (not just a splitter hitting a speedbump, ahem) starlet before! Either way, even if the damper is too wide or too short or whatever, it can always be turnt down and re-tapped! And without out sounding too mickey mouse, itd be easy to get that top spring pan on a polo spring, all you'd need is, an angle grinder some snips and a hammer and maybe cable ties for good measure!

Wish i read this earlier, had mine on the ramp to do my brakes couldve whipped it apart, should be getting it in again on saturday so if i have time ill do some measuring

Sweet, i was worried about the rears not seating right because of the pigtailed bit, i havent chopped the rears on mine yet

Just needs a good polish! Get a toffee wheel on a dril mate will get rid of the glue in no time, with the rear springs, did they still seat ok after the pig tail bit got chopped off?

When i got caught by a speed gun i got waved in straight away, cheeky bastid hid behind a bush!

Got pulled all the time in my 106, most was 4 times in a week by the same copper! Once in my breadvan because it was brown after the offroading i did Loads in my fiesta because it was painted with a brush, on the floor with pokey wellers lol. Not yet in the starlet, its only a matter of time!
