  1. Happy days mate glad you're getting somewhere I couldn't even get above 5 psi when I got a new turbo fitted with an old actuator, I replaced it with a new adjustable one and it sorted it out, trial and error.
  2. Got my fully recond'd head back today! Engine off next week for rebuild boyyyy!!!

  3. To be honest you would think it bud, but it took me about 20 or so full turns to move up 4 psi on a brand new actuator. On the stock ecu I know as long as boost is below the .85bar it fuels ok, not sure bout the jam tho!
  4. Yeah I'd say running 1bar on ct9 with that set up you're pretty much near at 200hp lol
  5. Mate I would say wind it in til about 100mm and see if it can hold a steady boost just under fuel cut. I had mine wound right the way in and the oem boost gauge went to the max, which was roughly 0.8bar/12psi. If it does overboost (to 0.85bar/12.5psi) you'll hit fuel cut, so you'll know to turn it down a few threads from there anyway. I'm sure it'll he sortd handy enough pal I doubt both of the actuators are faulty.
  6. Bargain! Wish I wasn't rebuilding my engine glwts
  7. I have one off my gt if you want it mate? Pm me well sort something
  8. That's real strange there mate :S "The car boosts perfect with a standard actuator fitted but as soon as I fit an adjustable one it will not hold boost at all, if I accelerate the boost would fly off the boost gauge if I let it" Sounds as if the there is no actuator plugged in at all allowing it to boost freely! If you've one single loop going from turbo to actuator I'm baffled man
  9. Same have the 8mm blue ones myself but I thought these were thicker. No worries thanks pal glwts!
  10. Oggy182 gets my vote liking the red wheels
  11. I'd say remove the fcd altogether man unless there's proper fuel management fitted. Bit dodgy hitting .9bar without fpr/emb etc. Make sure you port the wastegate hole out it helps prevent boost creep
  12. Yea mate I think you lose your button because the mbc is plugged into the actuator lines. There should be a fitting kit to tell you which lines goes to the hose and which to the actuator. Or someone on here will tell you.
  13. There's a speedvision one in the parts for sale mate
  14. Gonna buy one from I'd workz mext week anyway but just chancing my arm incase anyone has one lying aout?
  15. Best porting out the wastegate hole slightly with a dremel then mate, helps prevent creep!
  16. Outta curiosity what did you guys block the bov port with?
  17. That's how it was for me when I was shortening it for more boost lol I spun it loads of times and it went up like 1 psi. Just twist it out a good 12 times (6 full revs) and see how you get on from there, might even need to up the boost a bit!
  18. Provisionally sold to me pending payment
  19. Thanks guys Ill give them a bell tomorrow!
  20. My jaw dropped when I seen the GTs there all awesome! Wouldn't mind a go in the auto next time I'm up Jay I always wondered what it would be like
