  1. So long and the short is. The car hasn't changed hands recently, it's just moved locations. The bloke would sell it but his Mrs is keen on restoring it so my numbers been left. It was the owners brother I spoke to and he seemed to know what they had and said lots of people were interested so I just asked him if it was cool to take some photos. If I'm honest it's way to far gone for me to be fucking about with so it was a bit of a relief to find out it's not for sale!

  3. Thanks mate. I've a 20v in an SR here I could rob for the engine lol I'm guessing whoever has it will have a fair idea of what they have because it changed hands in the last year and wasn't scrapped, and if you didn't know what it was.......this one looks like it should be 😂

  8. My Glanza has the same problem. Worst after a fast run, if I stop for a few minutes and then re start the car it will really struggle to idle. Weirdest bit with mine is that with the headlights turned on the revs actually pick up a bit lol
  9. Got a Tom's rad cap here to fit standard radiator. Only reason I'm not using it is I've gone half rad. Genuine item bought in Japan

  11. Iirc (and I try not to lol) complete replacement of my rear quarter plus paint was £1100 😳
  12. Don't sweat Morgey my black rear quarter blended 100% although it cost me a small fortune!
  13. Same on mine drilled out the bolts but got lucky and saved most of the thread. Can't get those extractor bits to work they're an absolute dick!
  14. Not on yet mate, got a Cusco one here but I'm gonna give it a tidy up and the green treatment and then get it on. I'm only slightly out on the rear but sooner rather than later I think!
  15. Save for a nice turbo lump and use your developing mechanical skills and slowly forge it, then when you've got some no claims and a bit of age on your side, drop it in and go nuts!

  18. As always, long over due but there has been progress! Decided to tackle the rear brakes as they were looking pretty neglected and there was an advisory last MOT for rear bearing. First go at doing a disk and pad change as the ST185 brakes I put on the SR were already bedded in and just slipped together. Mad a bit of a school boy error and didn't wind the calipers back far enough but after hurling a good amount of abuse at the car I realised my mistake and managed to get them on along with some braided lines I've had for years. Unfortunately the bolt on one of the caliper lines had been rounded
  19. They look fucking tacky anyway. I've got the door swatches and cluster surround but only because they are Trd bits. All my other carbon interior stuff is genuine and I still payed a fraction of his asking price. Nuts
  20. Apart from hundreds of pounds, what exactly are the differences and can they justify buying a Wepr or Blitz kit for example? I've got an jperformance one on at the moment but it's pretty beaten in so looking to replace it, any advice greatly received!
