So long and the short is. The car hasn't changed hands recently, it's just moved locations. The bloke would sell it but his Mrs is keen on restoring it so my numbers been left. It was the owners brother I spoke to and he seemed to know what they had and said lots of people were interested so I just asked him if it was cool to take some photos. If I'm honest it's way to far gone for me to be fucking about with so it was a bit of a relief to find out it's not for sale!

My Glanza has the same problem. Worst after a fast run, if I stop for a few minutes and then re start the car it will really struggle to idle. Weirdest bit with mine is that with the headlights turned on the revs actually pick up a bit lol

Got a Tom's rad cap here to fit standard radiator. Only reason I'm not using it is I've gone half rad. Genuine item bought in Japan

Iirc (and I try not to lol) complete replacement of my rear quarter plus paint was £1100 😳

Don't sweat Morgey my black rear quarter blended 100% although it cost me a small fortune!

Same on mine drilled out the bolts but got lucky and saved most of the thread. Can't get those extractor bits to work they're an absolute dick!

Not on yet mate, got a Cusco one here but I'm gonna give it a tidy up and the green treatment and then get it on. I'm only slightly out on the rear but sooner rather than later I think!

Save for a nice turbo lump and use your developing mechanical skills and slowly forge it, then when you've got some no claims and a bit of age on your side, drop it in and go nuts!

As always, long over due but there has been progress! Decided to tackle the rear brakes as they were looking pretty neglected and there was an advisory last MOT for rear bearing. First go at doing a disk and pad change as the ST185 brakes I put on the SR were already bedded in and just slipped together. Mad a bit of a school boy error and didn't wind the calipers back far enough but after hurling a good amount of abuse at the car I realised my mistake and managed to get them on along with some braided lines I've had for years. Unfortunately the bolt on one of the caliper lines had been rounded so I swapped the rear calipers and carriers from a rear beam I'd bought to covert the SR to disks but never got around to. They're still in primer due to japfest being days away at this point but I kind of like grey! Also took the opportunity to swap the bigger front brakes over from the SR. I will referb the Glanza ones and it can run those. Because my whole brake system was being changed I thought it was time to bite the bullet and fit the Tuning dev abs kit. Now I expected it to be a bit of a dick.......long story short, take the inlet off. In fact take as much stuff off as you can because it's awkward as fuck. Hours later........ So with all this going on the car looked like this on the Friday evening with Japfest being Sunday but little bit of stressing and it made it along to the show stand. Although as always I didn't manage to talk to many members as I felt like an extra from the walking dead. Some seriously well looked after starlets on the stand!

They look fucking tacky anyway. I've got the door swatches and cluster surround but only because they are Trd bits. All my other carbon interior stuff is genuine and I still payed a fraction of his asking price. Nuts

Apart from hundreds of pounds, what exactly are the differences and can they justify buying a Wepr or Blitz kit for example? I've got an jperformance one on at the moment but it's pretty beaten in so looking to replace it, any advice greatly received!
