rust really there all going almost 20 to 30 years old now its jap its strong
If you do go tdo5 then it will be dead to 5000rpm and then from 5 to 7500 it will do warp speed. And engine troubles to come soon as the turbo needs to run at a bar to go really it slugs down at lower boost it sucked o my car even with advanced spool helping acis manifold
Shit on stock engines
-
only local system i know of is this if you cant het hks 1
http://www.japspeed.ie/toyota-starlet-ep82-cat-back-exhaust.html there must be cheaper systems around of them
-
Hey guys going to fit new guides but can't find it anywhere online could some link me please or get Toyota part nor cheeeers
-
Its not just the hangers the back box sits an inch or so further back you will see the tip sticking out that much extra to
-
There strong engines at o.6 it will never pop only high milage and high revs will shit old bearings out good maintenance is key to long life if you where to fit new bearings and rings it will last years at 0.8bar
-
You better worry about registering. The engine or you. Be just another uninsured car here in the republic like so many others
No it dont matter for nct mate use the turbo cat for the emissions

If I were you I'd get an fpr just to be safe. Plus if you do you can run it on 1bar boost. Obviously need an FCD for that.
Been running with this setup for a while now myself. :)
on the other hand of that if you go beyond FC and rais feul pressure milage will suffer big time brings al sorts of little problems with it to over time

i will thanks quick question and pure coinsidence but one of my mates might have a td05 turbo from his old Subaru not sure if mine has the right engine for this but have seen a lot of people referencing the td04.
Waiting on details from my friend he also has to see if he still has it? Pics tomorrow
nope go tfo35hm instead tdo4 is very laaaagy
you can run 0.8 bar tthen on stock ecu
-
i would go tfo35hm 19T on a stock engine a fucking rocket of a turbo ( it will have a 43mm inducer ) shits over a tdo4 as it spools lot faster
but outside of town on long roads the tdo4 will; be faster in a drag race its what you prefer really smal power band in the tdo4 vs a 3000 to 7500 rpm powerband tfo

treat the rust as soon as you can now its tiny quick touch up and a bit of prottection over it on the bottom
door pillars use a paint pen with a bit of practice you could hardly tell if it was topuched up IFF you can match the color in pens ??
