stevie82
All registered and now road legal . Not much hot air from the blower so need to flush the matrix out at some point but checked the air con as it smelt a bit, not much gas in the system and probably original pollen filters too yukSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
stevie82
managed to get hold of an oe rear strut bar courtesy of aamir (thanks bud). It looked a bit tired and the paint was faded a lot so I decided to stick it in the blast cabinet at work and repainted it, first pic is in bare metal second is in etch primer, will paint it satin black tomorrow. Also ordered net plastics as the old ones were scratched, part numbers on the back went in at Toyota so let's see if they arrive was £84 + vat for the lot.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

stevie82
Not really done much with the old girl she’s been a trooper gets used everyday and doesn’t miss a beat. Got a few niggles that need sorting though. It had new brembo pads and disks last month and an oil and filter change yesterday, gave it a bath too still come up pretty good
stevie82
Forgot about this, wepr tdo4 ram horn kit with lines (shout out to sacha such an easy guy to deal with). Workmanship is second to none and I can’t wait to get it fitted. Turbo was from Subaru spares in Kent that came with a three month warranty but I sent it to my local Turbo guy and he replaced all seals and changed the thrust bearing £220 all in for the turbo and the refresh. stevie82
Got the geometry setup nailed today, still going to put it on the corner weight scales next week when I get chance. The MeisterR’s really have made a difference to the handling the dampers are set midway and are really compliant.

stevie82
Received a Toyota parts delivery today so hopefully get after it this weekend at some point and finally sort the leakey camshaft oil seal out !
stevie82
Not updated for a while, been busy with the sr and 206, she keeps trooping on as a daily with no real issues really. I did get round to doing the timing belt and tensioners, changed the cam seal but noticed the front crank seal was weeping 😩 and the sump wants pulling off cleaning and re sealing so it still leaks oil ! stevie82
Managed to get new crank seal and a few other bits from td last week and did a few little jobs while I’ve got lockdown time on my hands. Replaced the drivers seat belt with the new one I bought from Toyota 2 years ago 🤣, it sorted the flashing light out on the dash instantly! Why I left it so long I don’t know. Fitted new boot plinth clips and front arch liner clips as they were vibrating on warm up.
stevie82
Decided to get on with the tdo4 setup today so I split the exhaust side from the turbo and did this
stevie82
Bolted it back together then a phone call to mike at td for some new gaskets an oil return and a tial wastegate then put it together just need to sort myself a front mount intercooler with pipe work then off to tuning developments for an emb and set up, I know it’s been done a million times but it’s my daily so need to keep it reliable and safe so 0.9 bar springs in the wastegate.
