Idrees
Hi I'm looking for a couple of heavy duty trolley jacks. Ideally low profile and nothing too small in size. Any links or brands would be great. So far I've found these two below. Clarke 1.5 tonne Draper 2 tonne Cheers
Jamie_VF22
Id go with the Draper 2 tonne Low Profile Trolley Jack with Quick Lift iddy brought one myself not so long ago great bit of kit Makes lifting the car easier about 3 pumps and its up in the air mate

Starlet__SR
I need something low it's a pisstake jacking mine up whats the lowest jack out there? Drive on wheel chocks, just little ramps that give you that extra height.
Gainzy
Drive on wheel chocks, just little ramps that give you that extra height. That's what I do thick square blocks and a normal jack still won't fit under and I'm on 16's I need to make bigger chocks

Sheehy StarletGT
I have had the Clarke 1.5 tonne jack for over a year now and it's possibly the best jack I have owned. It is really only a shop jack though as it's very low to the ground. I would definitely go with the Clarke jack
Idrees
I did come across SGS Engineering but I've never heard of the brand before so I was unsure. I like their 2.5 tonne jack so that now leaves me with 3 options. Thanks for your input guys. I need to make my mind up and order something in the morning!
adzy
http://www.cp.com/en/whatwedo/workshop-equipment/trolley-jacks/I have the 3 ton version of this, it's low entry, lifts quickly. Good jack
Bean
I had a clarke aluminium race jack. They are absolute poo! First time I jacked my starlet the seals went. Got it repaired and it lasted a while but the bolts always came lose. The seals went again and I got it repaired under warrenty just after making a fuss. Then the seals went again shortly after. Go to you local snap on man and buy the blue point low entry one they are about 140 I think. An awesome quality jack which will last year's. They are very well built to last in a garage. A clarke aluminium one wouldn't last 5 minutes. I couldn't trust another one of those.
Johnboy GT
I bought a low profile 2t Arcan jack from Costco, best £80 I spent. Absolutely cracking jack. John
Ollieh17
http://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/trolley-jacks/tja25-aluminium-trolley-jack im going to go for this
Idrees
Thanks for all your input guys. I opted for a pair of these: http://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/trolley-jacks/tj2-5lp-low-profile-garage-trolley-jackI did consider the aluminium however the lifting range on this is 75 to 515mm where the aluminium is 100 to 460mm. I've got a better chance of getting this straight under the car
