Big_T-SR
???going down a hill? do i win? ... Is this a serious post? Sorry, but the question is a little vague..Heres some things that will make your car go faster tho:1) make your car lighter2) Increase the power your car has3) going down hill also does make your car go faster lol, but if you want those kind of answers you can probably add something like4) lose weight, but that might clash with no.1But seriously tho, can you be more specific? that way we can help you more. Bourkey
No No incorrect. Some of these Seriously though it depends on what kind of fast you mean. Upping the BHP a bit to all out drag strip beast. The decision lies with you.Bourkey
ste91
Also helps to know what car you have, and if you know anything at all about engines...
shelly_star
as mentioned, a little more detail on what car you drive, what mods you have on it and current bhp and what you are aiming for
montanajr
Just a rumour, but if you push the pedal on the far right all the way to the floor, the car goes quicker. Well I noticed it in mine anyway...
Idrees
You need go-faster stripes to make a real difference mateThey'll improve the torque by millions! Also, lose weight!
Nanglebadger
thats without doubt the LAZIEST post i have ever seen!if u cant be arsed to put a little effort into your post why should other members bother to try to guess wot the answer might be! tell them wot u have, and what u want, and a budget and u'll get sensible answers!i have half a mind to delete this thread because its just a waste of space.Phil. Nanglebadger
ok im goin to assume u have a 1.3 16v n/a starlet...because my crystal ball is broken. So, wot u want is to dump the rear seats. For the engine, a corolla manifold, some fresh NGK Iridium Plugs, some fresh Magnecor or TRD leads, and a K&N panel filter, thats wot i have in my n/a.U can also advance the timing. And if u have a large brain...u can re-crystal the ecu to give a higher rev limit.or hit the search button if my answers arent wot u want! it tends to work.Phil. Idrees
For £150 I would get myself a Corolla inlet manifold which can be found in your local scrap yard (From the bug-eye Corollas with the 4EFE Engine) they are also found on the Glanza-S but obviously quite rare. With the spare cash some Iridium plugs and Magnecore leads

Galliano
Just a rumour, but if you push the pedal on the far right all the way to the floor, the car goes quicker. Well I noticed it in mine anyway...thats the exact thought that crossed my mind when i saw this topic if you want to make it lighter, remove just little touches, re-trim your doorcards removing the center peice with the pocket etc, thats only a minor thing but can make a bit of difference, secondly, take the rear seats out, remove rear panels etc and then fit the seats back in if you have to, removing carpets sometimes works, but dont ask me if it makes much of a difference because im not too sure.removing the center console might work, leaving you with the gear stick and HB only. but if you want pure track car just strip it all, bar drivers seat, steering wheel and dials
Big_T-SR
Well, alot of people have opted for the best value for money upgrade, which is to try and find a 4EFTE engine from a scrappy or somthing and put that in your car. You can be different, but it will cost ya..T

As rolling road proven, could give an increase of up to 10hp! Well worth it!
ste91
While we're on it, where's the best place to get those plugs and leads from? (best meaning cheapest)
Ryno
decent suspension set-up and decent brakes will make your car faster! oh and doing a decent service to make sure your getting the best out of what you've already got is a good place to start!
