Neversimple
Ok I said I wouldn't post but I took lots of photos and have to return some parts It was all going so well too. Thanks Jelly for putting up with me this morning mate. Lots to unwrap I think I broke the camera housing though shouldn't have tried the whiskey then tried putting it all together at 1 am well we live and learn. After a good nights sleep I tried again. Rotor thingy isn't meant to look like this this apparently. This filter was a bit of a guess perfect fit didn't realise they were meant to be that shade of green. Also found out why the air con doesn't work new Ht Leads too Not a fan of the gear knob the gator doesn't fit properly now it is shiny though The jump leads did there magic and time for someone to polish a turd bird decided to give me leaving present and the paint on the roof is bubbling now really need a lock up sooner rather than later and certainly before a Respray. All done before 11am If anyone knows the part number for Glanza wind deflectors let me know please. Oh and lots more coming soon.

Neversimple
Well new updates ok 1st Jae may not happen for me this year because I got busy may work out cheaper to write off the ticket cost. i went for a bit of a drive down to Rayleigh and she’s a strange lil beast, engine light came on but the gear box feels much better. engine light went off and didn’t come back on, oh and she’s de restricted. At 180kph she’s still pulling in 6th gear got her measured up for a cage, that will be sorted by January. Also picking up suspension, brakes, seats, radiators, steering wheel, carbon fiber body panels. The budget can be affected so Jae may be a push jay-c your a saint mate it was a pleasure to meet you and jelly it was good to see you again mate hmm I will learn kph to mph as I am clueless not a great idea in an average speed limit I will try for JAE though
jayc-glanza17
Glad to meet you bud. More then happy to help build this starlet up
Neversimple
Ok update again and a big thanks to jelly baby he sorted my tyres out today looking sweet and feeling good! She’s still working well and about 150 miles in 3 days done, not a real trek but she feels healthy and reasonably solid big test tomorrow! Go and pick up the new bits on the way home from brands hatch
Neversimple
Ok this is a build update for the end! At brands hatch I survived jelly survived and emoji survived Pictures below! (4 others binned it a Porsche and a Caterham were 2 of them a couple exploded) I didn’t see what else crashed. before we needed a tow loop that’s meant to be red grrrr (Jelly about to go out) on track and in the mix awful pic but I learnt my photography skills are awful This is straight after a 15 min session the breaks were burning a bit everything else spot on. the limitations are mainly me related I should have more faith in the car i really wish I could have got an instructor laps but m25 Because I have spent a lot of time making her safe and not driving her I got her up to 150kph probably more on straights and battered it out of corners jelly 170kph on the straight I saw. Thanks to Jellybaby for being there in emergencies which didn’t happen, and for helping me collect parts on the way home at a horrific time of night! He did a bit of graft though I Hope you had a good day mate you were much better on track than me (for now). thanks to Jay-c for waiting up and allowing me to collect all the parts at a horrific time of night sorry about the banking stuff it was a pain but it got sorted I was exhausted. Yesterday’s time scale was bonkers motorway 75miles accident happened 30 mins after we went through that meant instructors could not arrive drive brands hatch Indy give it what we could and we were both pleasantly surprised stopped in traffic for 2 hours this cost more in petrol than the bloody track day still 2 hours to get home after traffic She then became what she started as a van my little yellow iveco daily she’s done me proud. Thats about 1third of the stuff picked up on the way home thanks jelly you got a silly amount of my stuff in your garage, mate we need a plan I know but I need a day of rest. (not much I can post on videoes sorry forgot to read instruction manual) why what’s happened?
