Starlet SR - spare wheel question

Did Starlet SR come with a full size speedline spare? If so, I assume it had a different boot carpet to accommodate the larger wheel?

No I wouldn't say so as the boot space is to small.

Yeah the full size alloy barely fits. I was just curious because when I bought the SR speedlines I got a set of 5 which I thought was unusual. I wondered did Toyota supply a full size spare. The previous owner must have just gone and picked up a 5th one themselves.

It is funny you should say that, because most of the sets of Speedlines that I have seen come up for sale over the years, have been sets of 5..

Yes mine had a full size spare

The two sr I have had over the years both had full size speed line wheels in the boot 👍🏼

I honestly cant remember, i dont believe it did from memory, you just had a bit of a 'hump' in the boot carpet

Sr’s definitely come with a speedline as the spare wheel, as rob said, standard carpet you just get a hump in the floor. Bit of an after thought but always nice to have a full size spare wheel i suppose.

Hi, I purchased a starlet SR  in white new back in 1998 and it came with a full size Speedline spare with matching continental tire, fitted with both a full size round cover and grey carpet cover.
