Toby@ToyTuning.com
Hi all,Well it's been a long long wait but are demo no1 wheels are finally here! These have taken over 9 months and are custom made in the states. They use these in the Miata Cup Series over in the USA, each wheel is balanced within 0.005 grams offering near perfect weight distribution. They are 15inch by 9inch, very very wide! They also retain the stock offset. These will give us a much wider track and will be utilised with 25mm hubcentric spacers. We can fit 275/35/15 full slick tires onto these ideal for time attack As some will know these wheels have prevented us from completing the main demo car. Without these we have been unable to make the arches needed to fit them. Now they are here the car is going off to the painters so fingers corssed she should be ready by early August!Anyhow hope you like the pictures and we look forward to posting the full write up! Nearly there! Thanks,Toby

Toby@ToyTuning.com
Thanks Geo, no your completely right. With demo no2 we managed 200@ fly with our TT hybrid units, TT manifold, TT actuator and TT here the thread, demo 1 will be ready hopefully Aug:Yesterday we finally had a chance to setup and dyno our run around Starlet, AKA demo car 2. As many will know this car was built to show you all what could be achieved with a realistic budget. Our main demo car is at the other end of the spectrum and will show you what can be achieved at the top end of the scale.Demo no2 has the following engine specification:Toy Tuning CT9 Hybrid Turbo @ 14psiToy Tuning CT9 Manifold Normal CoatingToy Tuning CT9 Adjustable ActuatorMagnecore 8.5mm LeadsNGK Grade 8 PlugsEmanageSard FPR Full KItWalbro 255 PumpAutobahn FMICRelocated Filter to Front BumperThat is it, nothing crazy just a vert simple setup well within reach for most customers.Rolling Road Results@ 1 bar she made 200.5 BHP at the flywheel, 170.2 BHP at the wheels and 189 ft/lb or torque with no exhaust! Overall really happy with the results considering it's only a wee little CT9! Going to have a few more tweeks, maybe run a little more boost and re-fit the exhaust. We tried running without one but due to the angle of the decat it actualy restricted the flow at high RPM which lost us all the torque after 5000RPM, hoping for around a 10bhp increase with one fitted and constant torque of circa 190 lb/ft.Will refit the exhaust and get her re-dynoed in a few days, will see if we can crack 210 BHP with 1 bar of boost Enjoy:Rolling Road Video (excuse the sound not sure what happened!) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcxwZLCQkswGentle demonstration of power delivery/torque, chassis and brakes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qlyfW6lm70NB - That's with Toyo 888 Semi Slicks in Soft Compound!A big thanks to Ed @ Fusion Motorsport (www.fusion-motorsport.co.uk) for mapping the car and to Charlie @ Surrey Rolling Road (www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk) for putting up with all the exhaust fumes from having no exhaust Thanks,T

GordR
Very impressive mate. No concerns over steering feel loss with such wide tyres?
ecksjay
1500quid? girt bajesus.same with as my bloody 17's, although obviously the contact area is going to be less on 15's, you're always going to be limited in that respect.Fair play, they are massive. Dave's 15x10" MAG wheels came from the states, custom ordered for about 500quid which only tooks a few weeks, seems crazy that yours took so long. Were there not any off the shelf versions that you could choose from or did you want a specific spoke style?
Toby@ToyTuning.com
Yeah we wanted a specific rim, each ones is custom made depending on spec so they take a long long time. We are developing steering racks with poly bushes as well. We've just bought Steves old KP as well so we may bring that to JAE, other one won't be ready having cage made as we speak Tobs
