Guest Enzo Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 i like how on gt turbos the tacho swings right round the dial, Quote
shelly_star Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Looks sweet, you must love driving at nights with those pretty dials. Quote
Robbo Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 There is mine, I used marker pen to do the needles, looks similar! again it doesn't show at night, and I got the original lights still on, can hardly see it Quote
ecksjay Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 that would piss me right off....why didnt you just keep the original needles? Quote
scutch0 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 what you guys wanna do is take the paint off the BACK of the needle and then re paint the BACK in the colour you want them to be... and keep your backing lights too. Quote
SiCaln Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 i did that Rich but they didnt glow red what type of paint do u use, i tried neon bulb paint regular, bulb paint nothing happened Quote
Robbo Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Can't see the original needle on the new background, white on very light grey/blue is hard to see during the day, which is why I did mine red. When lit my old ones weren't as bright as that pic anyway by street racer.Colouring the back of the needle would be the best idea, but I didn't fancy taking it out so took the chance of tinting it in red with the pen (rather then painting) and it still didn't come out right. Never mind. Quote
