thanks for the comments peeps.

painted the needles with a car paint touchup stick,

only problem with them is the needle doesnt light up so bit difficult to see at night,

heres a night pic sorry about the size

There is mine, I used marker pen to do the needles, looks similar! again it doesn't show at night, and I got the original lights still on, can hardly see it :o

what you guys wanna do is take the paint off the BACK of the needle and then re paint the BACK in the colour you want them to be... and keep your backing lights too.

i did that Rich but they didnt glow red what type of paint do u use, i tried neon bulb paint regular, bulb paint nothing happened

Can't see the original needle on the new background, white on very light grey/blue is hard to see during the day, which is why I did mine red.

When lit my old ones weren't as bright as that pic anyway by street racer.

Colouring the back of the needle would be the best idea, but I didn't fancy taking it out so took the chance of tinting it in red with the pen (rather then painting) and it still didn't come out right. Never mind.
