Just a quick update for those none believers who think my car will never be finished

I have made a start on removing the underseal from the drivers side arch, it'll then be bare metalled, rust treated (http://www.bilthamber.com/deoxgel.html) to get rid of the dreaded worm that has grasped a few places. Then etch prime it, seam weld it then a coat of zinc rich primer http://www.bilthamber.com/electrox.html

The idea is I will do this all over the floor pan as my car has had many years abuse on UK roads. But before I do that I have to manufacture a spit/turning frame to mount the shell on!!

Anyway here's some pics

Just thought I'd give another quick update

Got my windscreen removal bits through before I went on holiday so I've started to cut out the front screen.

Had something come for the car while I was on holiday, so I've been to the post office to day to pick them up. What great is I got them from US and get them cheaper including shipping from US than buying them over here without shipping. Plus I didn't get stung with Tax

Anyway enjoy

Mate i know how you feel. i have done this to my front and rear guards, and engine bay. and boy does it take a shit load of your time... but i used one of these on the end of my angle grinder to make the job alot quicker. right down to bare matal.
